this is huge thread thing man, at my school it's me and another kid who love classic rock, the rest are either punk wannabes, or faggot rapper people, who think there cool :upset:
|
Can't answer the drug question but which album has Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison on it? I have that one and Moondance. Moondance is a lot better but I don't love either one. Caravan is a good song though.

You like Rush. I like Rush :) |
I like Rush too. Its ashame we sont have one station here that does play rush...but Im listening to Something for Nothing now. Lets try to stay on topic /Rushfan\.
Van Morrison was the first CD i ever listened too...So them tunes always ring through my head since i was 7...then of course you have all the other queer **** like boy bands and rap. I still remember Dark Side of the Road and Brown Eyed Girl like i did then. |
I don't like Rush all that much...they're pretty damn talented, but I can't get into them.
Anyway, any of you know how long an acid trip takes? Assuming the user drops the standard amount of it. I figure you guys would know more than anyone. |
So I finally got Live/Dead. Discuss.
|
Usually around 8-12 hours.
|
Well, I think I would know more than anybody. If you want a real acid trip, you have to spend a weekend doing it. Also, it helps having the guy who doesn't want as much as everyone else... you know, to prevent you guys from thinking you can swim around the perimeter of the ocean or from thinking you'll survive a jump off a 50 foot high building.
|
okay, thanks.

Shrooms > Acid IMO...acid trip is too long for me. Salvia or mushrooms are my tips of choice.
|

I just saw Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas. Good movie, especially early on. |

No, "Catfish John". :) |
So, I did some drugs yesterday and have some questions.
My friends brought a gram of Salvia. It was passed around in a piece to about five people. Now, I myself got three hits off of that, but one wasn't that big of a hit. Now, I did not trip, and want to find out the reason. Did I not have enough? How much does one person have to take in? Ect... /drugs question
You need Salvia Extract fool! /also did drugs yesterday |
No, "Catfish John". :)
Ya, I'd say American Beauty and Working Man's Dead are the two worst albums in rock and possibly ever. |
Yeah, definitly. They were suck a waste of money. I'm going to go burn them right now.
*goes to burn* *also burns Hoist by Phish on account of suckage* |
yeah. the grateful dead suck. Especially Sugar Magnolia. i mean wtf?
Don't badmouth The Grateful Dead you guys, that's just silly.
There are a lot of factors that come into play with Salvia: You have to hold each hit in for at least 15 or 20 seconds, that is the main reason most people don't trip off of it, they exhale to quickly. While leaves should work, extracts are (almost) guaranteed to be successful, they are usually more expensive but you don't need as much. Salvia has to be very hot in order to activate the active components, torch lighters are said to work best although I never use them. Keep your lighter on the salvia until you are done inhaling completely, don't treat it like weed and take the lighter off once it starts burning because it won't be hot enough. Finally, not all people trip off salvia every time. I've tried salvia about ten times, tripped maybe about six times...sometime's it just doesn't wanna show you the other dimension. I hope that was helpfull. Alright today at a mall right by mine, some guy was selling all his vinyl albums for fairly cheap (between 50 cents and 5 bucks canadian!). Here's what I picked up for $40: Rush - Moving Pictures Roy Orbison - The Very Best Of Talking Heads - Fear of Music Trooper - s/t Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties Nazareth - Close Enough for Rock 'n' Roll Nazareth - Expect No Mercy Nazareth - Loud 'N' Proud U2 - The Joshua Tree Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band - Against the Wind Wings - Venus and Mars Shooting Star - Burning Van Halen - s/t Styx - The Grand Illusion (blah I don't like styx, and I don't recall choosing this album) Ry Cooder - Borderline Cat Stevens - Greatest Hits Steppenwolf - For Ladies Only Neil Young - After the Goldrush Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Rust Never Sleeps Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere The Allman Brothers Band - Englightened Rogues Yes - Fragile Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon Elvis - Untitled (seems to have all his best songs, so may be a Greatest Hits) Bachman Turner Overdrive - II The Rolling Stones - Got Live If You Want It The Rolling Stones - Some Girls Creedence Clearwater Revival - 20 Greatest Hits Creedence Clearwater Revival - Green River Supertramp - Crime of the Century Chilliwack - Wanna Be a Star I already have a lot of these albums either on vinyl or CD, but I couldn't turn them down for less than a couple bucks each. Feel free to make any comments, or suggest what I should listen to first. |
