Haha.
I love how many ads I see that advertise "DARKEST LEGAL TINT". It just sounds like it has to be sexual when you see it on a yellow sign with red lettering and no other information.
Mine's not the darkest, however it does block the highest levels of UVA and UVB and reflect the most heat. And if I have sex in my car the windows fog up anyway. No dark tint necessary. |
Haha you bogan.
:chug: I swear this thread, every day it's like we've picked three new topics out of a hat. CHANGE PLACES Does anyone know if there's any credence to the adage that stringing an electric guitar with the strings being threaded backwards through the bridge, then wrapped over it and back up the neck giving extra sustain? |

Not much. Just cleaned my entire kitchen. We're trying to move/sell the house, so it needs a good cleaning basically everywhere. I think we kept less than 30% of the stuff that was in there.

Was it fully furnished when you moved in? |
Presumably not. This is my parent's house. It's been lived in for 30 years.

Ah. I thought you were referring to your own house. Didn't you move out a while back? |
No?
I'm looking to move out in a month or two, though. |
No?

**** I am bored. People having a go at me and being all "dissapointed" that I never learn and blame everything on anything but me. Someone msn or gmail me.

New Fuzz Pedal Name Idea:
In fact, I may re-name all my pedals to be altered names of famous and controversial literary works. |
Well nah dah. We're more outlining the idea that lying in the sun for hours, or in a UV bed for cosmetic purposes is not only a fundamentally flawed concept, but also kinda skanky.
yay for judging people! |
My buddy and I are thinking about heading down to Mill Ave (a local "Main Street", if you will) and bringing along a megaphone or two. We want to stand at the opposite corner as the Bible-preaching people and read quotes from The Origin of Species.

hmm ive got this wierd problem with my bass where if i roll the balance knob from all the way bridge, to all the way neck , it cuts off battery power completly, then like after a little while it works again
what the hell is that? |

Anybody ever used the Behringer UT100 tremolo pedal? I'm thinking that, for $25, it can't be too bad.
|
It's behringer - that's like saying goatse is done only using your own hands, it can't be that bad.
|
I'm afraid I don't know what goatse is...
...unless it's somehow a reference to goatse.cx |
it is a reference to the loverly guy who yanked his arsehole open with his bare hands.
|

You never saw the other 39 pictures. He used dildos and different objects to assist, not his hands alone. Behringer =/= Anal Penetration. Besides, a couple Behringer pedals actually get some good reviews on TB. |
where on earth did you find 39 other pictures and why? And I just have nasty memories of behringer. I got sold one when I started out (for forty ****ing quid!) and it broke after like 4 months.
|
Oh and have you checked out 1 guy 1 jar?
|
For $25, it'd be an okay pedal to see if you like tremolo effects. But if you do, I'd buy a better one straight away.
|
i dunno man i'd be a little worried about quality when the things made out of plastic
|
Behringer pedals are good for what they cost, which is saying plenty when they cost like $30. Around here a "real" pedal will cost literally 10 times that much.
|
Oh my god. I suck at tieing a tie.
|

And it's a bloody outrage. |
So $60 on a padded genuine leather strap was totally worth it.
|
I had one of those for a while. A girl borrowed it and never returned it.
I wasn't that fussed about them really, they're very comfortable with the leather but they can't be adjusted as precisely as the loopy-pully ones. |
That's true, but the 2cm gaps are close enough for me. I just got one because I really think it's important so I don't **** my back over. Plus I can still use novelty ones at gigs, just for practise. Just after working doing what I do and playing a fairly heavy bass so often and typing a lot my back's getting kinda ****ed up.
|
I'm not sure a leather strap is going to do any more for your back then the other kind? Unless it's just rubbing on your neck or whatever.
|
The wider strap creates more friction with your shirt, therefor allowing you to keep the bass at a more ergonomic position.
I use a Franklin leather strap that is 3-4! and I love it. Plus, it looks sexy with my bass. I might get a black leather one as well. Still, I love my 2" straps for my 4-string or Carvin 6er. |

I dunno how much I buy this ergonomic positioning stuff. If someone has before and after pics I'll believe it but I never noticed any improvement when I was using a wide leather strap aside from it sticking to my shirt and being a bit annoying that way.

Chickens can't make cream man. Let alone soup. |
