Yeah, it does make me sad. Such a great band, friendship is ruined. Tom says he still loves them to death and would still play with blink. I hope they rebuild their friendship soon like Tom said, and blink would start again...

I can't really say that I blame Mark or Travis all that much. Music is a cutthroat business and they probably felt like they were being stabbed in the back. Hell, they even kinda did it to Scott back in '98. That is probably the only thing that I ever didn't like about blink and it looks like it sorta came back around to bite 'em where it hurts. Oh well, give it 10-20 years and they'll get back together for a new album. Either that, or they will meet at Travis' funeral after he OD's.

The article was on Kerrang..orsomething. I live in the U.S., so I couldn't get it, but I got it from the AVA fansite. If tom said he'd like to reform, id say theres a chance of them doing it, he has always came across as the most stubborn, and argogant so if he is willing to sort them out, then maybe there will be a reform, i dunno. But, it won't be untill at least 2007/8, then ill be 20, and i dunno if id even like them then, as recently ive pretty much stoped listening to pop-punk anyway.

/me got sad when reading the interview with Tom.

I love Another Girl, Another Planet, it has got me into listening to Blink again.

It got me listening to them again too. It's an awesome song.

For some reason, I always start getting into Blink again at this time of year.

Man Overboard has somehow attatched itself onto my mind and made me like them, after not listening to them for years. It randomly popped into my head and made me love them.

It seems that Travis didn't have a whole lot to do with the break up. Since most of the issues were between Mark and Tom, I think that they'd have to make up. Hopefully, they'll have to since the whole Atticus and Macbeth thing, but you never know. bleh.

If you notice, tom never wears atticus no more, and mark never wears mcbeth.

Travis was always the one to stay out of things. Even the fun things they did.

I was watching the Rock Show video earlier and Travis doesn't do anything like Tom and Mark do. He was always the more sensibel/boring of the group.

Good drummer though.

Imo, I think that Travis wasn't such a good move for the band. But on the other hand, he's a good drummer, but since he joined, their style changed loads.

ha ha, It is true though, they went realy poppy, but didnt they right enama with scott? im sure scott did the drumming to mutt and they left him on.

I'm not sure, i've never really looked into it that much.

EOTS isn't that different to older stuff I don't think. It changed a bit though. To me it's just better recording making it sound a bit less scratchy.

Ok, so here it goes...

I'd say that Blink won't get together again. Tom isn't half as bad of the jackass that they're making him out to be, and Mark isn't that sad about the whole Boxcar thing. I mean face it, sometimes people just grow bored of each other, and they need to stop hanging out with them ALL the time. They've all matured with their musical styles and are looking towards new horizons.

I could care less if they got back together. Yea, itwould be great and I would probably buy the CD. But, it's not the end of the world that they aren't together.

I agree 100% I mean I really like Blink but they have had an excellent career as a band and they have released so many quality albums. If they were to get back together and release another album I would be happy but if they don't I'm not going to be mad at all.

That's how I feel as well. I still enjoy their music, and I'm sure I'd buy a new CD if one were to ever be released, but I've moved on, so it isn't a huge deal if they never return.

I'm just pissed because I want to see them live one more time. I missed the last U.S. tour because I was on a school trip. It's just been a really long time since I've seen them live.

Suck it up, I've never seen Blink live. Matt hasn't either...or at least if I remember correctly.

Nice quoting rampage Stew. And no, I have never seen them live. I wanted to. When they first broke, I was super pissed that I never got the chance. There are many other bands that have concerts that I will see in the future and will probably be 10x better than a Blink concert.

Anyways, I think Tom is maybe the one to blame here, Mark and Travis probably felt like he was abandoning them. If you notice on DVD's and interviews, Tom is the one who seems to be the most anti-social and independent. I've heard him say many times that he doesn't like most other people. He apparently just felt it was time to do something else, and naturally Mark and Travis got mad. It's their band too afterall.

Yeah Tom tends to like things, and hate evrything else. Like on tour I can imagine Mark getting on well with the other bands but Tom would just kind of ignore them.
