Where'd all the phony Slayer fans who were just into CI and not the old stuff go? It seems. The album has killed them!

Christ Illusion is a good record. I've been listening to slayer for years, own most of the CDs and the only things I havn't got via the internet are undisputed attitude and the Haunting the Chapel EP. I am a Slayer fan. I like all Slayer. This is a resurgence in their fortunes.

It has plenty of great tracks, the only one I'm not digging as much as the rest is Eyes of the Insane. The stupid sods have decided to make a video for the worst song on the record.

Christ Illusion is good, just downloaded it. I don't get what y'all don't like about it it's the best since Seasons.

ehh. I think Cult is the only quality track. It's just boring, tries to hard to "fukk over teh god", riffs suck, vox suck and so on. Dave's drumming is great as always, but it doesn't save it.

Haunting the Chapel came on my satillite radio today. It was sweet, and really suprised me.

I was really into Slayer when I first bought RiB, but then I got SNM, Hell Awaits, and Seasons, realized that the rest of the Slayer I had wasn't near as good. Then I moved on, clutching those three albums.

For the most part that is true. Note able exception: [I]Show No Mercy[/I]

Christ illusion is fast, the vocals aren't GHUA whiny screaming, alot of the riffs are generally typical Reign in Blood style. The low tuning is a downside though, but still why doesn't anyone like it!!!???

Simple, it's boring. The lyrics are stupid, as all they do is pretty much attack God. And the music is what we've been hearing for years.

I like some Slayer lyrics. tbh

Epidemic is one of the more underrated Slayer tracks, for sure.

I would say any track off Seasons other than Dead Skin Mask, War Ensemble, and Spill the Blood is the most underrated Slayer song.

Yeah, it's probably my favourite Slayer release.

Since I've become a chemical warfare fanboy. I've discovered the greatness of that EP.
