Killswitch Engage are good, imo. But I don't like their new album as much as their last ones.

No. Then again the clones in this genre are better than the clone in say......Indie, Pop, Hip Hop or mainstream rock.

Its Dies Today are an excellent example of a band that have perfected the art of imitation and STILL sound great!

I would say that IDT are good at what they do, now that they got rid of that horrible singer. Though i havent heard the new guy yet, but i'm sure he is better than the last guy. Has anybody heard him?

Because they push boundaries and are extremely inventive. What songs have you heard exactly?

Some songs off Miss Machine on my friend's iPod. The classic rock-esque song and the title track just lend to the idea that they're totally pretentious because both songs suck at what they're trying to do, then you have the pointless "woroossshshshhhhhhgoggogooohokokotokasnaojnjrkhk" songs, which are just as, if not more, stupid.
