But I play in a band and I think that it is more important to write my own songs (yes, for me it is) then knowing other people's songs. Ofcourse it is handy to learn from their songs, I've learned the most of other songs, but that's not my target :thumb:

I'm looking for a teacher though, to learn some more theory etc and advance in a bit quicker way then I do now ;)

As much as I probably sound like a bitch, in any thread when someones got some nice new gear or has played a gig, there's always a "congrats" and the like, or like on this page where Jody said something i won't repeat, he still keeps his cool and explains rather than getting worked up and all that balls.

So I got asked to join a band today by some guy from college :D I'm practicing with them on thursday to see if I like them. I've played with the drummer before and he's brilliant. There was some great interraction between us :)

I'm starting a funk metal band with my ex guitarist from my ska/punk band. I've never played it before but it should be fun

As soon as word got out I was buying a bass I almost immediatly got 5 or so band offers. But the better I got, the less band offers I got :upset:

There are bugger all decent guitarists in my area. Sure, they can play well, but when they get in a band situation they play out of time and are arrogant phags.

However, this guy Nathan is pretty good, and we've jammed and its good :D


Just need a drummer now. :(

There are plenty of guitarist wanting to play with me, the drummers are where the situation starts...
