Does anyone else think the Cult Snippet sounds somewhat like War Ensamble? For somereason when I listen to the clip it reminds me of War Ensamble.

Well, after listening to the song again, I don't really like it. Hope I like the album though.

I'm not going to comment on it until the 6th, when I can hear the full version, I don't think it's going to be great, but it's unfair to judge something based on 10 seconds.

Even then it's only one song.

Yeah, that is true. They are probably putting out this song first because they think it'll be more easily accessible to people too, so I wouldn't be suprized if it was the worst one on the album.

Actually in a way yes, the intro of War Ensemble with the pull offs.. but just slightly.

Slayer has turned to ****, just like Metallica. Their 80's **** is really good though.

Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven, and Seasons are all really good albums. Anything after that sucks.

I really like their Haunting The Chapel EP too.

Slayer is not s[U]h[/U]it...They didn't sell out at all. They're as heavy as ever just don't sound the exact same.

Of course their early stuff will be better. That's the case with almost every band.

Has anyone watched this? I really like it, it has a nice old Slayer feel to it (most likely because of Lombardo) mixed with a little of GHUA feel. I like it. Comments?
