This is an opportunity for me to tell you all:

If you are ever capable of seeing this band live, make it happen. It remains of highlight of my life, that night.

Iai 02-10-2005 05:14 PM

I've been digging Skunk Anansie this past couple of days.

NineBitFable 02-10-2005 06:07 PM

going after some Jazz fusion, mostly bands singles I download off of Progarchives... though I plan on picking up a Mahvishnu (Sp?) Orchestra cd at some point.

Iai 02-10-2005 06:43 PM

On that note, I listened to Birds Of Fire yesterday. Can't say I was massively impressed, despite being a major fan of McLaughlin.

Zappa 02-10-2005 08:22 PM

Why can't a guy come here and already listen to some good stuff. The only fishy one is X Japan, since that's basically an MX essential all of a sudden.

mr_jackalope 02-10-2005 08:29 PM

Woo, I just downloaded some stuff by Mirah and it is not sucking. Good times.

So you know, I'm just sitting here, chilling out to Janis Joplin's 18 Essential Songs while trying to write an essay of rebuttal on some Holocaust Revisionist.

Zappa 02-10-2005 08:48 PM

I'm listening to XO, because I'm in that sort of mood. It's one of those song cycles where you just can't pause it or skip anything. Amazing work.

Tangy zizzle 02-10-2005 09:01 PM

I swear to God this my real username. However, that doesn't mean I haven't been on this site before and looked at CD Reviews and saw X Japan. I then downloaded some of their stuff and loved it.
