I got here just before they changed the repping system. I remember making my first post, and then when I was clicking around, I ended up giving myself ten rep points.

The new system is better though. Havng stars actually means that you are a good user, and that you are repected by mods and other 4 star users.

Those posts got you neg reps.

Yeah, i'm hoping to get some rep quite soon, but it will take a while to get 4 stars.

In R&M, you get rep like anything, yet good contribution in here barely gets any recognition.

Dan: Well I'll keep that in mind as you mentioned something about rewarding users who wrote lots of blurbs :p All the users Ken gave stars to are absolutely stellar users though. They all deserved them from the get-go.

I know, i'm gonna ask amod/mods about repping 4 o5 users who have been a big help.

But, i've done loads of blurbs, about 8-10 or so and did the whole competiton...

I agree. Obviously Dan should get some rep for setting up the polls and doing a lot of blurbs. You should too, as you have done quite a few as well. I've done quite a bit as well. (Something like 15 or 16 blurbs)

EDIT - and counting the votes up is a BITCH, and i've got the worst yet to come, putting them all in order and there are loads of tie-breaks.

You're not sounding arrogant. It obviously isn't easy to set up 20 or so polls, plus write a bunch of blurbs. You deserve rep more than anyone who participated.
