So I picked up the most awesomest CD today from my library.

It's a group of rare live and studio recordings of Beach Boys songs.

Anybody like Radiohead? Not as Classic Rock but just wondering, everybody gives them great reviews but I can't get into some songs, request me some?

Badmoon 05-27-2005 11:45 PM

I don't care for Radiohead. Their sound lacks elements I enjoy in music, ultimately making it very hard for me to like.

I'ts hard (for me, at least) to get into regular songs by Radiohead, I'd just go with OK Computer or Kid A.

Specifically, though, Karma Police (off OKC) or There, There (off HTTT) are good.

JonG 05-27-2005 11:47 PM

The singer sings to slow, and it's so slow paced. ;\

How about some Gov't Mule?

Badmoon 05-27-2005 11:48 PM

It's too built up and progressive, and lacks Root influence as well as Pop elements.

Well, from what I heard.
How about some Gov't Mule?
You want recommendations? We could do that; everyone here likes Gov't Mule.

Canadian-Guy 05-27-2005 11:50 PM

Thoughts on Robert Johnson, anyone? Helluva guitarist.

np. The Beach Boys - California Girls

I can't get into Robert Johnson. I can't get into a lot of Blues (Minus a good amount of Country-Blues I hear), and I find him a bit repetitve (in some cases) and of course the old recordings do not help.

Leadbelly > Robert Johnson

Ah, but that just goes without saying ;)
