Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 03:21 PM

Kill Bill 2 wasn't an action movie, in case you couldn't tell.

Jaded 12-16-2004 03:23 PM

I liked Kill Bill Vol 2 better than Vol 1.

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 03:26 PM

i would have liked it if it was left as 1 long movie, instead of broken into 2.

PaulSimonon 12-16-2004 03:26 PM

I haven't seen either.

How do you have the new mars volta... If you give it to me I'll rep you then randomly rep people until I can re rep you again as much as you want

Not kidding...
I need that CD :o
Edit: I'm still gonna buy the CD in february[/QUOTE]
as am i, but i dont think you'd like this cd its just too good

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 03:28 PM

i thought that both Kill Bill 1 & 2 really good though, so they would surely have been great as just a single Kill Bill.

thelowsoundofbass 12-16-2004 03:31 PM

they broke it into 2 becasuse as one it would have been near 4 hours long and they thought that it was too long.

lowsound

PaulSimonon 12-16-2004 03:32 PM

I've never heard Mars Volta either. I almost went to their concert though....

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 03:33 PM

i know, i just think that they should have left it as one anyway.

i'd watch a 4 hour movie in a theater if it was good enough.

i sat through Return Of The King.

never really liked rush

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 03:46 PM

imagine seeing The Mars Volta live and they play Cassandra Gemini, a half hour song live....

wait a second, i've seen a band do that before. Tool played Disposition, Reflection, and Triad, which were originally all one song, and although only 20 minutes or so on cd, 30 minutes live :thumb:

PaulSimonon 12-16-2004 03:47 PM

Thanks EP, even though you aren't on....

no they cut it in 2 because that way they could make more money out of it

the mars volta played for 50 straight mins at the show i saw them at

Duncster 12-16-2004 03:57 PM

^ No prob, leest I could do

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 04:04 PM

50 minutes, pretty long time to play non-stop.
were they headlining? if so, then that is kind of short.

BassVirtuoso 12-16-2004 04:05 PM

I would like The Mars Volta if they didn't have a singer...

Spaceman Spiff 12-16-2004 04:07 PM

Cedric is such a good singer though.

BassVirtuoso 12-16-2004 04:09 PM

I know he's good but it's not my style of singing.

Crapdragoon 12-16-2004 04:12 PM

they were great when i saw them.....i don't remember what year, anywhere from 1999-2001, i just can't seem to remember.
hmm....

Nine Inch Nails released The Fragile in 1999, so it was probably that year that i saw them opening for NIN.
