The bassist for my band is being a complete fag. We're supposed to be practicing on monday, so I text him to make sure he could come. Here's his reply (there's me, him, Jeff the singer, Jamie's the other guitarist and Seb the drummer);

"Jeff's working, and I was supposed to be seeing lizzie, and both my basses are fu[size=2]cked[/size]. If you got a spare we could sort something out."

The undertones there are so obvious they're almost overtones >:-\

good bassists who actually wan't to play are so hard hard to come across. we've only recently got ours, and he's in a coupla of other bands aswell.

I know. I read it and I though "How do you 'fu[size=2]ck[/size]' two basses?" And if [B][I]I've[/I][/B] got a spare? Surely it's his responsibilty if it's anyones. If I fu[size=2]cked[/size] an amp say, I'd be sorting it out myself as soon as possible because, for one thing, I like playing. I wouldn't half-heartedly inquire if someone else might have a spare as if it's a [I]condition[/I] on me playing. If where we're practicing has a spare, great. I'll take it if it's offered. But as we're practicing in hired rooms, it'll be me or someone else lugging another instrument around, and this band isn't about carrying anyone

And I'm pretty sure Jeff's not working.

I read his text and thought, that's just excuse after excuse, and excuses aren't what I'm after from my band.

Well, the two most recently released tracks from AMOLAD have restored my faith in Maiden. They suggested the bad old days of the Blaze period with TROBB, but have pulled it right back with Different World & BTATS. Go them. Different World reminds me of the verses of "Invaders" from NOTB - anyone else find this? (Addressed to the Maidenites in this thread)

Also, Nikki sucks on BB now. She is SO putting it on for the cameras since she's been back in.

I just got in from a nice evenin' out with mr BlueBaron of MX (who lives just up the road from me) :)
We went to see Miami Vice, it's crap, I don't recommend it.
Then got the late night bus home that took ages! Then we walked home :)
