On the second one i just thought, oh hey, it's a gir.... oh.

So i couldn't fall asleep forever last night because a) i kept thinking about the house and b) my window faces the patio and i could hear them talking. It was also very hot so i wanted my window open as much as possible. I woke up today and everything was fine. We have a lot of cleaning to do, but that's fine.

It's been really humid today. Not good for working coniditions. Where abouts do you live fishbulb?

SoCAL. Ventura, it's an hour's drive north of LA.

I played some 15" zildjian A mastersounds with a rippled bottom had that sounded pretty rad. Really loud. The guy who was helping me (it was actually the night that we went to get my vault hats) owned some of them and said that they sound great live, but hard to control for recording.

well, i heard a 13" istanbul hi hat, and dang, that was the best hi hat i ever heard.

I'm not a fan of huge sized anything.

I'm really sick of my Pro Sonix hats, though. I'm going to upgrade for my birthday, but I haven't decided what to. I like Paiste 2002 sound edges a lot, but they're hella expensive. =/

I used to: 18" Stagg SH Crash over 18" Crash-Ride. They're too hard to position.
