Question! I know this was asked before here, but that was before I had 'scrobbler, so yeah, I never paid attention to it.
Why the devil won't it update my weekly crap? It's still on last week. |
Jason likes Vertical Horizon
I'm kidding, by the way.
That may be the single most metrosexual picture I have ever seen. |
That may be the single most metrosexual picture I have ever seen.
Ha, truth. Wtf is that? Skull wax on the guy on the right? |
Kurtz- Mine sometimes don't update for 3 weeks at a time. I wouldn't worry about it much. Wait till next Sunday, I guess. :p
|
I like Vertical Horizon :upset:
Their debut was good, dammit. |
Were they the ones who did that one song? I think it went something like:
I have everything you want I have everything you need I have everything inside of me Something something blegh blegh belgh I think I remember who they were, my brother was always a big fan of mediocre radio rock. |
Yeah, that was them. borecore
|

IT MAY BE MEDIOCRE TO YOU, BUT IT'S NOT LIKE YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO VIRTUOSO SHREDFAG 24/7 Yo! (Jom- :-*) Is it just me, or are extremely deep msn chats just, totally awkward? I'm talking to my friend about girls, and things that we've done wrong..It's just real wierd talking about something you've never really shared with anyone else ever, over the internet. :p |
Oh man, I remember hearing that song everywhere, and it driving me crazy whenever it came on. I think it was on a cd that the mall I worked at played and, except for Christmas, didn't change for the whole time I was there.
And all of you who posted pics of your instruments, I hate you all :p I'm still looking for a half-decent keyboard or bass I can afford.
Yeah, the internet is so...impersonal and detached, which makes conversations like that hard to carry on, and very awkward. |
Yep, that was one of their songs.
Their other popular one was pretty deep lyrically, too. Check out this chorus: 'Cause you're a God, and I am not, and I just thought that you would know ///
Is it just me, or are extremely deep msn chats just, totally awkward? Maybe later. |

Yeah, I know what you mean. Except it's more like AIM for me. I remember last year me and a good friend were talking about girls at our school, and I told him about this girl I had a fecking huge crush on, how I thought she was totally focking gorgeous. But she was taken, so I couldn't do anything. And I really didn't want to tell her because I was too shy in her case, and I didn't want anybody to tell her either, because I didn't know how she would react to something like that. My friend proceeded to tell her everything to her because they were good friends. I felt sick after that :-\ |
good friend youve got. haha.
ive done that. i actually think its less awkward online. theres not so much dead air between sentences because you can focus on other things as well. im not so good at talking in person. i have serious conversations with my girlfriend online. |
Meh, I still think phone conversations are a lot better than IM convos.
Depends on the situation. I can't talk about really important things in person or over the phone usually. |
Depends on the situation. I can't talk about really important things in person or over the phone usually.
I'm the opposite. I stick to IM'ing just for silly chat. Sometimes I'll have some long convos, but that's a phone thing to me. |
Meh, I still think phone conversations are a lot better than IM convos.
Same, although personally for really important things, if it's possible I wait until I can meet up with the person. |
Depends on the situation. I can't talk about really important things in person or over the phone usually.
Me and my girlfriend tell each other things in person, on the phone, or on AIM...there's no real system for it, I think. |
Me and my girlfriend tell each other things in person, on the phone, or on AIM...there's no real system for it, I think.
I never really got into talking to close girl friends/girlfriends on AIM because I really hate that oh-so-cliche "luv u hun <3" system of communication. |
Me and my girlfriend tell each other things in person, on the phone, or on AIM...there's no real system for it, I think.
Eh, that's true. AIM or letters is my preference, but it happens in all manners.
I never really got into talking to close girl friends/girlfriends on AIM because I really hate that oh-so-cliche "luv u hun <3" system of communication.
I just talked to my gf for about an hour and a half about some real important stuff on AIM, so meh. Plus I have a limited number of minutes to use on my phone... |
I never really got into talking to close girl friends/girlfriends on AIM because I really hate that oh-so-cliche "luv u hun <3" system of communication.
Well, on AIM it's easier for me to ignore her if she starts to ramble :p also there's nothing wrong with the "luve u hun" stuff, it's usually not done totally seriously. I dunno. |

Haha, nice thinking.
also there's nothing wrong with the "luve u hun" stuff, it's usually not done totally seriously. Whether it's happy, sad, pissed, excited, whatever. That's why I like phone convos the best, you could actually feel what the person on the other line feels. Strangely, it seems to be more sutble in person. |

That's how I always saw it, anyway. |

I'd say it's more in person. I'm terrible with words though so meh. I don't communicate well, Gaby actually mentioned the other day how I say most things are "hard to put in words" :-\ I suck at language. |

Does she mean that what you say is hard to comprehend (you use a large vocabulary, ect), or the way you say things? |
I prefer it face to face because I think the body language and facial expressions are a very important part of communicating with someone. I dunno.
Yeah, that's true too, but it seems like you almost have to talk and you have to keep the conversation going on the phone. You know something's up when the person on the other line hesitates. In person is definitely the best for romantic convos though, because of hugging/kissing/holding hands/whatever adds on to the conversation and the atmosphere, or at least I think :-\ |
Does she mean that what you say is hard to comprehend (you use a large vocabulary, ect), or the way you say things?
Oh, it's not her at all, I think I explain things poorly. I don't have the mastery of language I need to explain the things I'm passionate about in the detail they deserve, and that bothers me. I hate explaining something and not feeling like someone gets it.
I prefer it face to face because I think the body language and facial expressions are a very important part of communicating with someone. I dunno.
Yeah, I'm big on body movement when I talk I think. Most other people probably don't think so, but I am. And facial expressions are necessary when talking to me, otherwise a lot of what I say is misinterpreted. It's why I use so many smileys :-\ |
I hate it when I can't sleep, so I end up overthinking on things, and then I get all self-loathy and insecure about the dumbest things :-\
|
Solution: Do something that requires all your thought, like playing an instrument, or writing, or something like that. You gotta distract yourself.
