well you dont have to agree with it. im actually doing a paper on that right now for one of my classes. the differences i economcs, labor systems, social structure, political ideas, and politcal parties were so extreme that the split was going to happen anyway.

Yeah it's all a matter of preference, it's not actually as rainy here as most people who aren't from here think it is but you don't get much sun in the winter or fall, and when you do it's fucking freezing.

I guess I'm just a cold person who likes cold weather, I like the heat and hot weather that we get here, but anything over 80 and I'm ready for it to get cold again. Also I despise extreme humidity.
