i love noir, i don't watch it often tho

have a Greta Garbo silent films trilogy waiting for the perfect occasion

sounds pretty good, haven't seen much traditional noir

French New Wave takes like [I]Alphaville[/I] and[I] Le Samouraï[/I] were interesting though (neo-noir?). Check those out if you haven't.

I haven't for a while, only if I see something at a good price and impulse buy when i'm stuck downtown for an hour or two (which isn't often).

When I get a blu-ray setup i'm thinking of investing in a new collection though, sold most of my DVD's when I first moved out of home.

he's a very technically skilled writer, pretty good at what he does if you can look past the cartoonishly stereotypical characters and the whole always let good triumph over evil in the end thing

well the characters used to annoy me, like seriously the protagonist was regularly painted as a sarcastic tool

also his political talk became increasingly bothersome, his rant against black metal in [I]Midnight[/I] was particularly silly
