I've heard OF People Under the Stairs.

One more for AH, a must-listen:

Nas - NY Street of Mind

Widely considered his best track. Also, my cellphone's ringtone
I LOVE that song. That whole cd is great.

Bartender 02-25-2005 09:32 PM
Okay, for Polyphonic Spree get both, "Together We're Heavy," or "The Beginning Stages Of..."?
I only have Together We're Heavy, and I've heard lots of people say that the first album is better. Together We're Heavy is really good though.

Actually, Together.. literally pickes up where The Beginning Stages Of.. leaves off; the last song on the first album is Section 10, the first on Together We're Heavy is Section 11.
You better hope The JoZ doesn't see this, he'll be pissed :p
I know.

I'm fully prepared to feel the wrath of JoZ.
I LOVE that song. That whole cd is great.
Arguably the best record ever (there are about five records, in my eyes, that can be called that).

opeth_oasis 02-25-2005 09:34 PM
Get Ares.
1. Is it fast?
2. Is it spy-ware and virus free?

ATM 02-25-2005 09:35 PM

I haven't had any problems with it.

Together We're Heavy is much better than Beginning Stages Of if you ask me.

Nothing beats "Section 11", nothing.
This is so awesome, someone has all the Tool albums

/shoots a load
It won't let me search for things on it. Do I have to do something first?

willis2441 02-25-2005 09:39 PM
DN, the Nas songs are good, but I'm just uncomfortable with having the word "******" in the music. Keep in mind where I'm from.

ATM: I really liked Ghostwriter :)
I know what you mean though.

Illmatic 02-25-2005 09:40 PM
DN, name those five. I'm interested to see.
People Under the Stairs - Acid Raindrops

http://s32.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1Q1ZGBRK7OX903BOX52OJQ0ZG5

Get this now!

Badmoon 02-25-2005 09:41 PM
Badmoon, would you suggest I get both?
Yeah, each album is great. The first has a much more poppy and catchy side to it, while the second is much more of an epic.

Each unique in its own way, of course. :)

jpj 02-25-2005 09:42 PM
Well, myTunes works for me because everyone in my building shares their music.

If no one at your uni is sharing, then you might be SOL.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Sharing

Make sure "Look for shared music" is checked off.

myTunes only works if you are on a network of people sharing :-/
Then it won't work for me :(

Basically you can you hook it to your computer to get recording studio quality out of your guitar. It has hundreds of tones---ranging from Mesa Rectifiers to Fender Bassman tones (all recorded).

Its a powerful piece of hardware.
