Against Miik! 08-28-2004 02:09 PM
It's cool when you quote yourself.
Is it really?

Paranoidd 08-28-2004 02:09 PM
^^^^

Duff (bass player) wrote songs on his own, and performed some of them with GnR. For example, "Dust n Bones" was a Duff song. Same with "fourteen years" from use your illusion 2. He does the main vocals, but Axl usually weasels his way in there, because there is no way he would do a song he couldn't sing on.
Wow dude, how do you know so much?

Against Miik! 08-28-2004 02:09 PM
Is it really?
No.

Sorry for that, back to business

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:10 PM

Brilliant.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:10 PM
I've started a trend! :D
Bring back the mullet and I'll marry you.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:14 PM

Healey has it covered

<---------

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:15 PM

He doesn't know he has a mullet.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:16 PM

Yeah but he has one. And people will follow his example. By growing a mullet and stabbing out their eyes.

Against Miik! 08-28-2004 02:16 PM
He doesn't know he has a mullet.
Yeah, when he looks in the mirror, he can only see the business on top, and he completely misses the party in the back. A common mistake.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:17 PM

Just did it. Btw njv niodw idvhn ww aiii saqa(falls on keyboard)

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:18 PM
Yeah, when he looks in the mirror, he can only see the business on top, and he completely misses the party in the back. A common mistake.
When he looks in a mirror he sees nothing. Due to blindness.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:18 PM

Therefore, the joke. Oh I get it.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:19 PM

The joke is ruined :(

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:20 PM

Ok new topic. Um, what do you think about the Hard Rock Cafe chain?

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:22 PM

Bitchin'. Great music/foodz0rz.

my 2 favorite things.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:22 PM

The one in DC has Duane Allman's guitar.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 02:24 PM
The one in DC has Duane Allman's guitar.
I intend to go there and steal that guitar.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 02:25 PM

It's missing three strings. People stole them. And it's covered in dust.

Against Miik! 08-28-2004 02:42 PM

Rock Hall has a Duane Allman and Dickey Betts guitar, both in mint condition with 6 strings. So imo, Rock Hall>Hard Rock Cafe.

And sorry for not knowing he was blind. If he were standing next to eachother, that would put me in quite an akward situation.

Paranoidd 08-28-2004 02:47 PM

The hard rock in Toronto has a huge ugly left-handed les paul looking light up guitar on the outside...its so ugly, but I'm happy its a lefty :D
yea Live at Leeds is incredible every classic Rock fan should own it or at least somthing from the Who.
Ok I know I'm really late, but is it the one-disc or two-disc version? I own the deluxe edition with two-discs (where they play almost all of Tommy on disc two.) But either version is incredible, I think it's one of the best live albums ever.

Other than that I have the Who Box set(Burned it from my dad), Happy Jack (or A Quick One depending on where you're from), and Who's Next. Just about all I need.

rock not the roll 08-28-2004 03:37 PM

The Who>the non who.

Makes sense to me.

lunch998 08-28-2004 03:50 PM

Yea, basically The Who>Everything else.

magicbus 08-28-2004 05:23 PM

mouseydude 08-28-2004 05:25 PM

is classic rock like classical music and rock together?

magicbus 08-28-2004 05:28 PM

No its like rock from the 60's and 70's. Like the "classics". Not classical.

themightyquinn23 08-28-2004 05:30 PM

He wasn't being serious. Just look at his other posts. You can tell he's trying to be a jackass.

magicbus 08-28-2004 05:31 PM

Oh. With 7 posts I thought he was just another noob bastard.

mouseydude 08-28-2004 05:32 PM
i AM serious! im just new to rock and metal so i dont know much. i used to listen to rap all da time but then i got sik of it and i wanted to try a new genre
In rock we don't say "da". We say "the".

Creedence Clearwater 08-28-2004 07:17 PM

Creedence Clearwater Revisted is awesome

RockAndRoll 08-28-2004 08:54 PM

Some classic rock (prog rock) does mix classical music and rock.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 09:15 PM

Does anyone here like Emerson, Lake, and Palmer?

Jimi Hendrix was rumoured to join them for a new band called H.E.L.P. but he died before anything was started.

lunch998 08-28-2004 09:23 PM

Just got Highway 61 Revisited and Grateful Dead live at Winterland 1978. Life is good.

Woodstock 08-28-2004 09:27 PM
Just got Highway 61 Revisited and Grateful Dead live at Winterland 1978. Life is good.
It's "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh. Just thought I'd mention that since no one ever talks about him here.

RockAndRoll 08-28-2004 09:46 PM

Just got the very best of bob marley and the wailers, Grateful dead Europe '72, Abbey Road, and CSNY "so far". Does it piss any one else off that you can no longer find anything but best of's for most of these older bands. Honestly, Although they're better than nothing honestly I don't want any more god **** greatest hit's I want the album's!
