OK, I'm posting this as a [b]rumour[/b]. Under [b]no[/b] circumstances do I want fanboys complaining and asking endless questions about things I don't know about. OK, here goes:

Tom Delonge has apparently posted over at Absolute Punk about his new band! It is apparently called Angels And Airwaves, and he says their record has been recorded.

There were speculations over whether it was the Tom Delonge himself, and apparently it has been proved that it isn't. Yet, there's a post by site owner Jason Tate on the front, saying he will have more details about the post made by the apparent Tom Delonge, with the news title "Giddy as a schoolgirl". Bear in mind that Absolute Punk started out as a Blink-182 fansite, even though now it is an amazing e-zine/lots of other things site.

EDIT: OK, Jason Tate has confirmed that this was Tom Delonge. He also attached a little teaser promo logo for the project:

Why do sites keep saying we will tell you soon about blink, there was something on the blink site about it, now its pissing me off.

Honestly, by the logo, I'm expecting a lot more serious and maybe even political lyrics from Tom, which is disappointing. I know he jumped on the "F**k Bush!" bandwagon back in 2004, but I never thought it would transport into his music.

Oh well, if they music is great and well produced, I have no reason to think it won't sound great

Yeah, this sounds like the old Tom, when he'd overhype himself purely because it's funny. I'm not saying it will be funny, but he's obviously very proud of it.

If blink dont get back together, then itll be all good, theres albums from all 3 of the guys due, the new blink cd, even if its a greatest hits, and proberly a DVD too.

Plus Tom and Plus44 will go on tour, but do small shows, such as manchester acadamy, and i could wait outside AND MEET THEM!!!!!!

Hmm, this should be good. By the looks of the pic, I'm hoping it'll be somewhat angry. And you know what, I wouldn't mind if it was about the war, because if blink could write good songs about depression and other issues, I'm sure they could about politics as well.
