Lol. I am that transparent?

Nah, Cliff was different. Jason was an awesome back up vocalist, Cliff was the better soloist. Jason uses a pick, Cliff never did. You know how it goes.
You play Bass? Or perhap Guitar?
Cliff was tons better than Jason! I never really cared for Jason, his lines were kinda ****ty.
Bloody hell.

Can we stop the Cliff vs Jason crap already? It's all subjective opinion ffs.

Jason tried to be a guitar player on the bass while Cliff tried to be Geezer Butler...I think he know who is better and it's not a subjective option. if you look at tab or see there solos Cliff is the better bass player for sure

123. Besides, it's been done a million times over.

Any new word on the new album? I hear that they're getting close to being done.

Skill isn't the only factor when comparing guitar/bass players.

This is also true, stage presence and the ability to work with your bandmates are also equally important.

Ahhhhh, it's nice to be back here.

Just sounding good helps too. Who cares how fast you can play if you can't EQ an amp or play in key?

Nice to have you back.

Well they're currently on their holiday break, for two weeks, then they'll be back at it. I heard rumours of solos...!

PepsiMetal 01-01-2006 02:29 AM

Didn't kirk say in some interview that they're definetely bringing back solos?

Despite what Metallica might think, solos have always been a staple of theirs and to toss them out is just unheard of. Kinda like me just up and chucking out my guitar for no reason.

ghettoeddo 01-01-2006 02:36 AM

i never said myung was the end all, be all of bassists simply because there can't be a BEST ever musician.

but myung pretty much destroys cliff.
but that's not relevant.

trujillo plays that bass so low... O_o reminds me of donkey kong or something. idk.

BLS_Infernus 01-01-2006 02:41 AM

Kirk said in Guitar World that solos are back on

almost done....they started at the end of November...talk about being quick

you guys basically made it sound like Cliff was better because A.) he had a better relationship with his bandmates and b.) his stage presence is unmatched but I think Jason had a better sound but it was a bit to guitary...Rod has to have the best bass sound though

I take it you are a musician as well? Very good points so far......

Thanx, I've taking some much needed time off for writing. It's being a bitch but I'll manage. Good stuff'll come to me eventually.

Seriously though, I was expecting mario to just jump out of nowhere and smack Rob on the head with a hammer!!!

I thought it was great how Kirk tripped right before dirty window. That was about as bad as James forgetting the lyrics to the live paris version of RTL on the SKOM soundtrack cd.

BLS_Infernus 01-01-2006 03:06 AM

they Kirk tripping was funny though they didn't show it James was laughing so hard...I thought when Kirk asked James if it made him giggle was funny James was like "yeah it made me giggle inside"

mr black 01-01-2006 04:38 AM

Or when James sings the 2nd verse instead of the 1st at BigDayOut, you can download it somewhere...

He has that constant Stance that he does. Then, he puts on 'Tough Guy' faces, and stares at Lars.

That I will. What is it anyways, an actual Film, or is it a documentary etc?

Rockumentary.
It's a docu-film I guess. Like Super Size me.
