|
LOL
a lot of previous "screamo kids" who got into screamo in 2005 and only listened to bands in 2000 are selling records they bought second hand for $3 on eBay for $50 SKRAM LIFE
and when did you start listening to 'screamo' |
idk I don't really remember
what does that have to do with screamo venture capitalists though? |
you made a sorta snide comment about kids who started listening to it in 2005.

no I made a snide comment about kids who started listening to it in 2005 and a few years later ended up selling their records for 20x $$$ I am actually extremely opposed to people who go «you started listening to screamo last year you know nothing new jack herp a derp derp». I absolutely loathe comments like that. |
lol trolled christ into ignore what a faggot
|
lol trolled christ into ignore what a faggot
What? |
he's proud of being so annoying that I put him on ignore, I guess.
|
called him out for being a pretentious twatwaffle more like
|
christsimpson are you even the tiniest bit self-aware?
|
yeah Mineral are sorta in a league of their own...
haha what... they are a sdre rip off |
also i don't really know what christ simpson is talking about. i sold most of my screamo records a while ago and i made NO money. screamo isn't worth anything anymore.
i don't know who you know thats really making more then they paid in 2005 for screamo records |
seriously i was paying out the ass for my records in 05-06. my fucking Hassan I Sabbah 7" i paid close to 30 for and was lucky to get 15 back on.
|
haha what... they are a sdre rip off
no they don't really sound like SDRE.
also i don't really know what christ simpson is talking about. i sold most of my screamo records a while ago and i made NO money. screamo isn't worth anything anymore. i don't know who you know thats really making more then they paid in 2005 for screamo records
you were buying the wrong records then you are a poor venture capitalist you are right about screamo being mostly worthless nowadays, thankfully. now it's all about Touche Amore test presses, LOL. no i have records that are worth money but i won't sell them. but no, screamo and 90s emo has passed. almost all popular screamo records are worthless in comparison to 2005
honestly i don't think you know much about records . . . 30 dollars for a 7" isn't really obscene in a lot of instances. also why do you keep talking about making dough... neither me or ben care that we didn't make money on our screamo records. yet we bought the wrong records cause we didn't make money to comply with whatever fucked up notion you are hating on in the first place? you are out of touch dude... i think maybe it's cause you are from norway but i don't know |
actually i'd go as far as saying all screamo / 90s emo has gone down in value
|

he's like tornpictures reincarnate, just more obnoxious and hilariously stupid

I don't know when skram records were in high demand. I never pay more than uh $10 for an LP, unless it's something really special about it. how about people who bought records in 2k and sold them in 2k5 then? that's probably more fitting. though I still see people selling the ltd version of the haikus LP for insane amounts of dough, JFFB splits for $50, Spirit of Versailles LPs for $40, random test presses for $70+, etc. for the record. I didn't say you or Ben were part of the venture capitalist "screamo" movement. I just meant that those people suck. and the stab about you buying the wrong records was an obvious (I thought) joke. you are reading too much into everything. geez. calm down broski. relax. |
i don't disagree that it's shitty that kids capitalize on their record purchases, but honestly I don't see why it's such a big deal to "overpay" for a record if it's something you really like/want. you shouldn't have to do it, but it doesn't make you an idiot or anything
|
I just said I think it sucks when people buy emo records [or any kind of records] second hand or from an active band real cheap, only to sell it on eBay five years later for quadruple the price.
|
i don't really think thata's so bad. 5 years is a long time.
i guess i'd get the hate if it was about people who buy 10 ltd 7"s and put them on ebay before the records even are in their possession. |
i pretty much only listen to midwest emo and I've cut screamo out entirely, save for a few bands.
lol ash some dudes i go to school with just started getting into screamo like a year ago, and it hurt to tell them that i listened to Circle Takes The Square when I was like 15. |
i don't listen to really any emo anymore. all screamo.
|
doin it rong ppl
emo & skram for EVER scene love & unity for LIFE SKRAM LIFE |
shut the fuck up
|
shut the fuck up
I might buy that 7" http://cgi.ebay.ca/USURP-SYNAPSE-HASSAN-SABBAH-split-7-SCEAMO-HARDCORE-/200561246099?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2eb261bf93#ht_500wt_905 |
i just started not caring about labeling bands and call it all "screamo". even then i barely listen to any screamo bands anymore. not enough chug chug or cru$t
