No Age rule

i've been digging many Melvins albums

Om - Pilgrimage

"At Giza" is just perfect.

Anxious 01-15-2008 12:25 PM

"At Giza" is on Conference of the Birds.

Still rules though.

Bukowski 01-15-2008 12:29 PM

My mistake.

Both those albums are great, Conference shades it though for me because of that song. I'm gonna have to listen to their first album a few more times and see how that compares.

seamantis 01-15-2008 03:07 PM

Enjoying some of the white stripes albums. Generally very good and Jacks the master of riff necromancy.

Dont need me to tell me that theyve got massive and been around for ages. Get behind me satan is a letdown though.

soundcheck 01-15-2008 03:43 PM

More people need to listen to Random Actos Of Intimacy by Sucioperro.

Other bands that I like are Biffy, Reuben, EITS, Jimmy Eat World, Hell Is For Heroes, Oceansize and Hell is For Heroes.

My Heart Has A Wish That You Will Not Go by Aereogramme is an amazing album as well.

Torch of the Mystics is so good. Especially "Esoterica of Abyssynia" and "The Shining Path".

br3ad_man 01-15-2008 07:42 PM

I keep trying to get into Sun City Girls but they're like The Fall or something, really hard to know where to start. Where should I start?
