Tomorrow they are coming to look at my apartments because the owner is selling and I am sad. :(

On a lighter note I really like the new Flogging Molly thing. But not as much as the new Who thing.

That is all....

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-08-2006 05:57 PM

Who is they?

Cob: oic, okay. :)

JohnXDoesn't 08-08-2006 06:00 PM

I don't know. Some strangers who want to see about buying this place. It's a charming old building, but needs some work here and there. Investment property, I would say. The landlord is asking too much, so I hope he holds his ground. I don't want to move. I have the perfect place in the perfect location for only $500 a month.

ripest 08-08-2006 06:00 PM

no thats a sad face

Such a good movie.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-08-2006 06:27 PM

The Producers is a good movie.

I like horror movies.

cobert 08-08-2006 06:30 PM

Most horror movies are just cheap thrills, and suck when you look back on them
Most horror movies are just cheap thrills, and suck when you look back on them
Old horror movies are tons better than newer ones.

cbmartinez 08-08-2006 06:45 PM

Cabin Fever ruled. The Hills Have Eyes is fucking awesome. Both Saws ruled.

Rent The People Under The Stairs. Wrong Turn, also...

cobert 08-08-2006 06:53 PM

Yes, but thats only 4 movies. And the second Saw so did not rule, it was just a big hispanic dude chasing the characters around with a knife.

CHELS: Thats because as time went on, directors went more for shock value than good scripts.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-08-2006 06:54 PM
Rent The People Under The Stairs. Wrong Turn, also...
I've seen People Under the Stairs. Its a really odd movie.

cobert 08-08-2006 06:58 PM

People Under The Stairs was a radddd movie. Its been a long time since ive seen it.

JohnXDoesn't 08-08-2006 06:59 PM

Yes, odd. I thought feakishly scary, too. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is worth a look. The Exorcist, Event Horizon, and for horror/suspense The Shining. The original Kubrick directed one. From Dusk To Dawn for outlaw/vampire horror is good, too.

cbmartinez 08-08-2006 07:00 PM

Wrong Turn was pretty bad. It was so generic. They get lost in the woods and get chased by like the freaks that live in the woods.

Saw II was nothing compared to the first one, but still ruled.

JohnXDoesn't 08-08-2006 07:02 PM

Yeah. I liked it, though. Thought it was well done. And Cabin Fever, too. Where people came down with a sickening deadly illness. Yuck...

Oh, and 28 Days, of course...

cobert 08-08-2006 07:03 PM

From Dusk Til Dawn was good just because of how completely absurd the idea of the movie is. Plus, Tarantino was in it.

I heard that Stephen King disowned the film version of The Shining because it didnt really match up with the book at all.
