Well.... the early november is pretty generic in general.
Hah! Yes! Agreement!
I HATED that 3 Disc album so much.

/Waits to be killed by everyone.

It was SO bland and SO boring. It was a bloody piece of generic shit.

Vince: EXACTLY! See! 2 of my 3 beats ARE THE SAME! :( :p
Wow you suck at liking good music man :(

But yeah, it's alright..everyone who plays rock/metal/punk tends to play a variation on the basic beat. it's all about making beats fit the music, not being technical.

Yeah, it sounds fine with music, because I can get stuff going with that and it sounds pretty sweet. But it's when people are like "Comon' man, show us how good you are" and I play and they're like.."Uhhh.." and I'm like..:(

MattSharpIsCool 09-10-2006 08:12 PM

Thats a big reason so many people like older blink 182 songs. The drum beats werent as complicated, but they fit the music so much better than the later stuff.

people love fast, just play fast.

or if they're musicians, play a nice afro cuban or funk beat or something.

Boring? Sure. Bland? Sure.

But generic? No. Not at all.

Unless they copied all those other bands with random Jazz songs, atmospheric songs, acoustic songs, happy songs, sad songs, and banjos, and trumpets on their album.

sketchyjoe 09-10-2006 08:20 PM

I saw The Early November live. They were terrible.

Surtr 09-10-2006 08:20 PM

Ok, now..I know you won't..But..I insist, you all, right now. Download the song "I Could Not Love You More" - Bee Gees. It's so awesome. k? lol

I told you weeks ago to upload a BG's album. Do it.

Respond to my post first.
I saw The Early November live. They were terrible.
They are bad live. I was at the front when I saw them and the crowd was twenty times wilder than the most brutal hardcore show. It was FU.CKING CRAZY!

MattSharpIsCool 09-10-2006 08:22 PM

I would.

But then I remembered it was the Bee Gee's.

So I didnt.

Permanent Solution 09-10-2006 08:23 PM

I did. I think I may still have the link though.

It's not their best album, but it's not bad. I'll upload another, better one soon though.

Wha's your email, I'll send you the link.

B 09-10-2006 08:24 PM

lol I hate TEN

I like FOUR better

The new TEN is much better than the old imo.

cobert 09-10-2006 08:25 PM
blah blah blah... the crowd was twenty times wilder than the most brutal hardcore show....blah blah blah.
I seriously doubt that.

I started listening to it when that whole style of music was new, so old TEN has a nostalgic feel.

The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path is effing awesome, but their other stuff sucks. They've progressed quite a bit though and are one of the best bands of 2006.

Surtr 09-10-2006 08:28 PM

Sent. :thumb:

Anyways, I'm out..Goddamn school tomorrow.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 09-10-2006 08:28 PM

This thread moves quickly. It's amazing.

cobert 09-10-2006 08:28 PM

The Early November, to me, have always been completely average.

Storm In A Teacup 09-10-2006 08:29 PM
I seriously doubt that.
I'm serious. Barely anyone was actually standing. The whole crowd was on top of each other pretty much.

B 09-10-2006 08:29 PM
I'm serious. Barely anyone was actually standing. The whole crowd was on top of each other pretty much.
You've never seen a real hardcore show have you?

cobert 09-10-2006 08:30 PM
I'm serious. Barely anyone was actually standing. The whole crowd was on top of each other pretty much.
When was the last time you went to the most brutal hardcore show?

EDIT: omg twinz

BridgeToSolace 09-10-2006 08:31 PM

I've never seen a hardcore show!

Storm In A Teacup 09-10-2006 08:31 PM

Yeah, I have.

No one was standing even. They would try to stand, but then would just get pushed/kicked/punched over back to the ground, from the front to the back.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 09-10-2006 08:32 PM

Hardcore is too scary for me.

cobert 09-10-2006 08:32 PM

Yeah, you shouldve seen it as soon as the breakdown started!

Mute Print 09-10-2006 08:32 PM

How many people were stage diving/head walking/moshing at this TEN concert?

But, on a series note, hardcore concerts rule. Especially Dead Hearts shows in Buffalo.

BridgeToSolace 09-10-2006 08:33 PM

I've only experiences a few breakdowns live in my time.

So much fun. The only time I ever start pushing back rather than just making sure I'm standing up.

Dead Hearts? More like Dead Vocal Chords! Ha!

A series note? Ha!

cobert 09-10-2006 08:35 PM

Ha? Ha!

Mute Print 09-10-2006 08:35 PM

Jon, the lead singer doesn't even need his vocal chords to play a show here. The crowd takes care of the vocals for him.

I've experienced a ton of breakdowns. I don't generally dance, but either way, it's a lot of fun.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 09-10-2006 08:37 PM

What exactly do you mean by breakdown?

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-10-2006 08:38 PM

Evenin' thread.

Storm In A Teacup 09-10-2006 08:38 PM

No one was stage diving because the security was pretty tight.

Like....twenty people seemed to be head walking/crowd surfing at any given moment.

B 09-10-2006 08:38 PM

JUN JUN JUN JUN BREAKDOWN

that
