Tjebby 04-17-2006 12:46 PM

I need to get the rest of A Life Less Plagued.

RetiredAt21 04-17-2006 01:43 PM

Stay Gold is so good.

Special Brew 04-17-2006 02:05 PM

Someone tab the solo for "Start Today". I don't want to do the work myself.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-17-2006 02:08 PM

I saw a tab for it somewhere, google for it.

AndreTheHyena 04-17-2006 03:41 PM

Anyone else totally stoked about the new SOIA? The new track up on myspace rules.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-17-2006 05:24 PM
Are either of you fags coming for the TXHC Superbowl?
I have work Friday-Sunday, so if I can get out of it, yes. If not, then no.

Sorry J, seems like we will never actually meet at a show.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-17-2006 05:25 PM

Andre, you like Drive-By Truckers right?

I'm in love

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 05:41 PM

It's f'uckin hot out.

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 05:43 PM

Oh and Carry On is so much more intense than Stay Gold. Both are good, but f'uckin man Carry On makes drive headfirst into a wall.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-17-2006 05:44 PM

It's over 98 degreez here

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 05:45 PM

We got 102 here.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-17-2006 05:47 PM

It's probably that here, it was just 98 around 11 here

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 05:49 PM

My friend's pool is filled up. We're definitely swimming tomorrow. I might hit up the lake this weekend too.

Feel The Darkness 04-17-2006 06:07 PM

pffft, it's 107 right now here in Laredo

Lazybassplr56 04-17-2006 06:08 PM

Pffft, it's like 75 over here.

Lazybassplr56 04-17-2006 06:56 PM

New Sinking Ships songs are up. It's pretty sweet. Danny's voice sounds a little different. His voice sounds raw.

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 07:00 PM

So far I'm a tad bit disappointed..

faith and fiction 04-17-2006 07:03 PM

The end of Auburn turned out to be pretty kick a'ss but I wish the rest of the song wasn't so...monotonous.

Lazybassplr56 04-17-2006 07:07 PM

The first song was a little boring to me but I liked the second song.

RetiredAt21 04-17-2006 07:11 PM

Pffft, it was like 69 degrees here.

Special Brew 04-17-2006 10:25 PM

Oh snap, I heard the most cliche hardcore song I've ever heard, but I liked it. I don't even know who it was, but they must be pretty popular, because it's on some Warped Tour sampler. Does it sound familiar to any of you? The lyrics in the chorus go:
Are you ready? Are you with me tonight? 'Cause I'm going all out, so show me what you got.
RouteOne 04-17-2006 11:15 PM

Hmmm, not sure what to think of this band.

Special Brew 04-17-2006 11:41 PM

Sounds like crap.

RouteOne 04-17-2006 11:43 PM
Sounds like crap.
Yeah just a bit. The only part I think is ok is the two singers. I like bands with two singers, but yeah beyond that....meh.

Special Brew 04-17-2006 11:49 PM

Despised Icon ftw.

RouteOne 04-17-2006 11:52 PM
Despised Icon ftw.
I only like a few of DI's songs.

TakeWarning 04-18-2006 12:41 AM

Hey thanks for the tab of Grace Kevin (I think that's your name).

whiteminority 04-18-2006 05:49 AM

Lucky bastard. Fuck the heat of the south.

Special Brew 04-18-2006 05:59 AM

Nobody likes bad gimmicks.

Lazybassplr56 04-18-2006 11:31 AM
Hey thanks for the tab of Grace Kevin (I think that's your name).
Your Welcome. I think I have one more tab in me. Check for it later. I'll have one for 39th & Gilsan

RetiredAt21 04-18-2006 12:06 PM
Nobody likes bad gimmicks.
Gimmicks of any kind are usually gay.

Whole new album up. Currently I'm searching for mp3s of it. Haven't listened to it yet, but I hear it starts off bad and gets better.

EDIT: Ok got mp3 rips off myspace, first song is boring.

Lazybassplr56 04-18-2006 03:19 PM

I don't think it's boring. Plus I just discovered that Warped Tour is going to be at Dodger stadium which is like 10 min. away from me. Looks like I'll have to go.

I don't see any of those as gimmicks. To me, gimmicks are used when a band can't make good music, and need something "special" to sell their albums (Slipknot, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, etc...) Those bands all make good music. To me, them dressing up all crazy, or being gay doesn't matter.

Lazybassplr56 04-18-2006 03:38 PM

Don't be talking bad bout my Slipknot and Mushroomhead. I'll cut u.

RetiredAt21 04-18-2006 03:40 PM

Eww, you like them?

GWAR do the same thing as Slipknot and Mudvayne...they just do it well. I can't see them selling a lot of records dressing normally. It's a gimmick. Of course the difference is that they do it humourously, but yeah.

RetiredAt21 04-18-2006 03:48 PM

But they have good music. Slipknot sucks balls.
