It's a screamo album with black metal vocals. Dead serious. It sounds kind of like Daitro at some points.

nothing physical, but I downloaded a discography torrent years back and it not only had all the main releases but a large amount of poorly tagged demos, splits and bootlegs mixed in with documentaries and Varg's writings in .txt format

It's still good though. I like post-rock to begin with so it's not really a problem as long as it's well done.

Bands like Krallice though, don't pull it off well at all.

Everyone is acting like it's practically an Alcest album.

The Drudkh elements are still very present on [I]Handful Of Stars[/I], tbh. And I don't just mean the vocals. It's not as folky as the old Drukh, but if they'd done that sound again, people would be complaining about how they always do the same thing and how they lost their touch.

haven't listened to krallice yet but i have a feeling i'd enjoy them since i've seen weakling comparisons

I adore Weakling and I still think Krallice is fucking terrible.
