where can i get some of this not missing out?
by not checking out the new drudkh |
I refuse to listen to the new Drudkh simply because they have a hottopic album cover.
It's a screamo album with black metal vocals. Dead serious. It sounds kind of like Daitro at some points. |
vocals sound like '90s metalcore at times. it's their best and most interesting album by far.
|
nope
|

No. Album sucked. Jumped on the post-rock dick pretty hard from what I could tell. |
Screw all of you. Handful Of Stars rules.
|
If you send me one I'll send you a really cool painting or something.

Huh..?
nothing physical, but I downloaded a discography torrent years back and it not only had all the main releases but a large amount of poorly tagged demos, splits and bootlegs mixed in with documentaries and Varg's writings in .txt format now and then an alternative version of one of his songs or an inaudible rehearsal will come up on my playlist at random |
holy shit thats a lot of shit
|
Oh, I thought "bootleg" referred only to unofficial live concert recordings.
Haha, there's a folder in there called "Oud Spul", which sure as hell isn't Norwegian. That's Dutch. I doubt the legitimacy of that bootleg. |
yeah I figured some of them were probably fake
|
or mayb the person that named it is dutch
|
No.

handful of stars is great
They went fucking knee deep this time though |
It's still good though. I like post-rock to begin with so it's not really a problem as long as it's well done.
Bands like Krallice though, don't pull it off well at all. |
Everyone is acting like it's practically an Alcest album.
The Drudkh elements are still very present on Handful Of Stars, tbh. And I don't just mean the vocals. It's not as folky as the old Drukh, but if they'd done that sound again, people would be complaining about how they always do the same thing and how they lost their touch. |
Bands like Krallice though, don't pull it off well at all.
haven't listened to krallice yet but i have a feeling i'd enjoy them since i've seen weakling comparisons |
I adore Weakling and I still think Krallice is fucking terrible.
|
ah alright. i'll still give it a listen though.
|
Krallice are better than Weakling. And Krallice doesn't resemble anything from post rock.
|
whoa mannnnnn
|
meatplow i bet a lot of those bootlegs contain the same material
|
Krallice are better than Weakling. And Krallice doesn't resemble anything from post rock.
disagreed and some of their song structures seem disjointed and post rockish to me |
none of their song structures seem post rockish to me, they sound math rockish though
rockISH |
handful of stars sucks
|
i think weakling is way better than krallice
|
yeah well who asked you
|
never even listened to weakling
|
i dont like weakling or krallice
|
