Now I am listening to "The Brood Needs Food" because my friends walked in from a movie, heard me listening to Hermann Szobel and decided to loan me an ipod.

De Kift - Krankenhaus

I am definitely in a music listening mood after being in a slump for a few weeks.
The OHM compilation of early electronic music. I should have gotten this ages ago, because I've loved this sort of stuff forever. I'm totally going to buy the box set that comes with a DVD.
Oh, cool, I didn't known they were re-releasing that. I used to listen to it loads before I lost it.

I dug up this live Otis Redding bootleg from 1967, so I'm digging that. The version of "Satisfaction" on here is ridiculously fast, I love it.
So Juno kind of sucked but it made me wanna listen to Sonic Youth again.
"Up Through The Night" is amazing though.

All of his albums are pretty much completely different from each other. I love both Sapphie and Autumn Response in different ways.

Bukowski 01-11-2008 11:18 AM

I've just dwonloaded The Naive Shaman and May, two more of his albums. Looking forward to hearing those.
Listening to Meat Puppets - Aurora Borealis wondering if my DJ name should be Rory Borealis
That's pretty sweet except it kind of sounds like a trance DJ. Have you seen the Aurora borealis? It's awesome.

Yeah it does sound like a trance DJ, but some other things I wanted to do is I wanted to use like psychological terms, but that kind of has the same issue. Like I wanted to be synethstesia. And I have seen an arora borealis and it's awesome.

I agree with Alex that sounds pretty gross.
Gory Rory
That just reminds me how my friends used to call me Whorey or Rockin' R Rory or Rockin' R Whorey if they wanted to be really obnoxious.

metalicajaymz 01-11-2008 04:59 PM

to be honest it's better to not have a fake name

asdf 01-11-2008 05:05 PM

I would but there's already a Rory on staff that just uses their name.
