On a waffle?
Good morning everyone. Today is also going to be interesting. Apparently my parents feel the need to have me see a therapist and a psychiatrist. Today I'm going to see the therapist and I must say, I'm not thrilled. I really don't want to go. Maybe I do have some problems, as they say, but nothing I would enjoy talking to people about. EDIT: What do you mean by DVD Soundtracks?
Waffle + toaster = very hot waffle Very hot waffle + finger = pain DVD soundtrack will be the audio part of a dvd.
one of these might be good http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/index.cfm?a=wiki&tag=Freeware%20DVD%20Tools if not, look up doom9 forums for some videophile advice
Thank you very much Apparently it's your mission to help me today, or something :p |
Waffle + toaster = very hot waffle
Very hot waffle + finger = pain DVD soundtrack will be the audio part of a dvd.
:amaze: Yowza. Well, if you'd like another program, I've got All Soundrecorder XP which you can record practically any sound that goes on in your computer. I could upload it if you'd like. |
That'd probably make more sense, though I don't imagine that it'd stay alphabetical for long. It also makes it easier to deal with bands who've released different genre Albums.
I also just burned my finger on a waffle. This has been an interesting day Also, does anyone know a good free program for ripping DVD soundtracks?
I like to do it alphabetically then chronoogically for each band's releases, I find it easiest to work around. Genres are a good idea aswell though. Follow this guide and you end up with a .wav file for the audio of the DVD at some point. You are meant to mix them together to make the .mpg file, but obviously you can just take your .wav and delete everything else and do what you want with your .wav (burn it to CD-R, compress to .mp3 etc.) |
I am inconsolable as I realise England won the ashes, and spent the night crying, my tears mixing with the tears of the whole of Australia as Ricky Ponting is burned in effigy.
Had to be done :p Anyway, I think I will hardly ever be coming straight home from school this next month or so, what with work and band practice and so on. School play rehearsals starting soon I would think, also. If they can decide what we're doing. I also have to write my Uni Personal statement tonight :upset: aswell as French homework, bah. |
Ok, so I went to see The Exorcism of Emily Rose with Powerchord_Rock and a couple other friends. Wow. Very scary, very cool movie. Considering I've only seen one horror movie before The Exorcism of Emily Rose, I'm not sure if everyone else would find it as scary as I did. I went to go see The Grudge (on a "date" which wasn't really a date, because I actually didn't like the guy) and I couldn't sleep for a week. That could've been the combined effect of the movie and the company though.
But the Emily Rose movie was scary as fucking hell right after I saw it, but I'm not hearing "one, two, three, four, five, six!" all the time. Let me explain. The coolest fucking part of the movie was the actual exorcism...where you find out that she is actually posessed by six demons. She starts talking in this real scary deep voice and she says "I am the one who dwells within! One, two, three, four, five, six! I am the demon who lies within Cain. I am the demon who dwells within Nero. I am the demon who lies within Legion, within Belial, within Judas. And I am Lucifer in the flesh!" It was so fucking cool, but so unbelieveably scary at the same time. She says it all in tongues too...so you're reading the subtitles and it just makes it sound scarier. I recommend this movie, though. If not for a good scare, for the storyline which is pretty cool. |

I'd prefer to have something that woul do it all for me and divide it nicely into chapters :(
I like to do it alphabetically then chronoogically for each band's releases, I find it easiest to work around. You can get things like that, but the only ones I've managed to find so far have been ones that only convert the first five minutes of the DVD  |

I think the closest we'll ever get is college radio stations...well I actually only know of one at Queen's that does a show featuring finnish metal. I haven't heard it myself, one of my friends, who's actually really into indy, was helping a friend of his run the show. |
