STRUGGLE

rule

pixiesfanyo 12-08-2010 08:13 PM

Three Penny Opera is from Ontario, Canada.

kitsch 12-08-2010 08:16 PM

looks like i've got to clean up my mental registry of hardcore bands

Eighty8Percent 12-08-2010 08:58 PM

Kidcrash is recording. I also heard they might break up after its released?

Hep Kat 12-08-2010 09:03 PM

well that makes sense

"hey guys let's just pump one more out then it's oooohhhh-ver!"

Eighty8Percent 12-08-2010 09:08 PM

I'm not the biggest of fans, but they never fucking tour so I don't really see the point in being a DIY studio band.

Hep Kat 12-08-2010 09:12 PM

in their defense when they do go out into the world, they do it pretty well. i had a lot of fun seeing them.

edit: and im not much of a fan either really

witchxrapist 12-08-2010 09:34 PM

yeah, i never got the kidcrash hype in the og skram forum

Kill Everything V2 12-08-2010 09:45 PM

fuck yeah man

also, the first locust album is awes and ofc swing kids own

whiteminority 12-08-2010 10:00 PM

the locust straight rules dude.

Juddybear 12-08-2010 10:04 PM

ehhhh a lot of their stuff is super annoying

witchxrapist 12-08-2010 10:34 PM

I don't really listen to All Leather on my own, but one of my best friends is obsessed with Pearson projects, and yeah.

christsimpson 12-08-2010 10:54 PM

The Locust's Flight of the Wounded Locust is amazing. the rest is kind of same-y.

Swing Kids are my definite favourite band by either of the involved members.

Juddybear 12-08-2010 10:54 PM

struggle is my fav

witchxrapist 12-08-2010 11:13 PM

Vaguely related through Some Girls, The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower is probably one of my favorite bands.

christsimpson 12-08-2010 11:24 PM

WTF. I was talking about members of Swing Kids. Unbroken, Struggle and Bread and Circuits are some of the great bands they were in.

whiteminority 12-08-2010 11:40 PM

Unbroken was the best band to ever release anything on 31G.

cobert 12-09-2010 01:05 AM
the locust straight rules dude.
forreal

what's up with all of the locust hate though, i like everything they released. Newest album might actually be the best.

cbmartinez 12-09-2010 01:26 AM

i always dug plague soundscapes and flight of da wounded

Matt? 12-09-2010 01:40 AM

off minor is the best

kid crash has really good tone / good musicianship / etc.
terribly boring songs.

cbmartinez 12-09-2010 01:41 AM

oh yah i never got why everyone went nuts over jokes, didn't really dig it

cbmartinez 12-09-2010 01:41 AM

wish GOSPEL would just put out another record and end this shit

Matt? 12-09-2010 01:56 AM

didn't you hear their new shit? it wasn't very good sadly

cbmartinez 12-09-2010 01:57 AM

i heard some like shitty basement demos/jams on muxtape i think? don't really remember them

Matt? 12-09-2010 02:05 AM

i know it's cause they were bad and too jammy and not catchy at all or intense

Matt? 12-09-2010 02:06 AM

not that the moon is a dead world is 'catchy' but it had hooky guitar and synth lines that stood out. in the new songs every instrument just blends together into blah

Juddybear 12-09-2010 08:40 AM
Unbroken was the best band to ever release anything on 31G.
You might be the only locust fan to believe this.
