Well, it's more like "You can own an AK-47, enjoy senseless violence on TV, deal in shady businesses, and bomb the living crap out of any country you don't like, but when it comes to tying one one or boys kissing, it's time to break out the torches and pitchforks."

I think the Japanese have the right idea. Lower the drinking age and put all of those exceptionally dark thoughts of yours into anime and comics so you can get it out of your system.

Off context, but I like their food. And I would mind living their, seeing how big japan is and how many people there is there. But whats weird is that theres these few heavily populated cities, and then the rest in just mountains...
Hmm, must be a British thing then...sorta. Here if any of the bulidings in the complex (several thousand inhabitants) has a fire alarm go off, the entire complex is evacuated. Most of the buildings aren't even close enough to spread the fire to one another :-\ We've never had a fire though...mostly just people burning popcorn at 4 am and such :(
Well all the blocks in mine are joined together, so I suppose the fire could spread. This is the most widespread alarm we've had so far, I think; the whole of block C or D (I forget which) has been emptied. Usually it's just the floor that the fire is actually on whose alarm goes off.

Anyway, while a couple of hundred people are standing in the courtyard being cold, I've amused myself with this;

Shadows 11-18-2005 02:44 PM

I just got back from school. We were released early and I don't have the bus schedule memorized, so I stood outside in 20F degree weather waiting.

I was cold. I prefer being indoors for extended periods of tiime.

Shattered_Future 11-18-2005 02:55 PM

I like the cold...it makes you feel alive.

Plus, it's better for more heavyset people. :D

Shadows 11-18-2005 02:56 PM

I much prefer the cold too, but not when it's truly dangerous.

Today was the first time all week it didn't snow. :upset:

kurrpt 11-18-2005 02:59 PM

i hate the cold when i start up my ride. The windows fog, so i squirt water to get rid of the fog, then the water freezes, and its a vicious cycle till the cab warms up

Bartender 11-18-2005 03:00 PM

I prefer the cold too. It's a lot easier to warm up if you're too cold, than to cool down if you're too hot.
I prefer the cold too. It's a lot easier to warm up if you're too cold, than to cool down if you're too hot.
True. Its the worst when its 90 degrees and you cant cool down. At least when its cold, you can put on more layers of clothes.

First half of the song I'm writing, bass only. Approx. 2:35.

If you're bored, give some feedback, please. It's nothing brilliant, but it's fun.

Oh, and for the record: I'd rather warm up from being cold instead of having to cool down by being too hot.

quoted for truth. i think it was still -6 degrees celsius when i left for the bus this morning, not too bad.
cold nights are good for lamping for foxes as well, had a good night out with the gamekeeper on Tuesday.

TojesDolan 11-18-2005 04:07 PM

What program did you use to make that? Fruity Loops?

Well, the fact that the United States Army doesn't use AK47's is funny. :p

And, at age 18, you can buy all the rifles you want as long as they are semi-automatic. But no way in hell can you have a bottle of beer!

Also you cannot buy or handle pistols of any kind until you are age 21 as well, but years before then you can still buy plenty of rifles and shotguns. Doesn't make sense in some ways, but some laws were never made to make sense.

Wooooo Vader and Decapitated tonight, hurrah.

here, you can own a shotgun at 15 and a rifle at...17 i think, obviously the calibres you can get depend on how much land you have. i'm getting a rifle and shotgun next year

Well I've checked and I do still have it, so either remind me to upload it tomorrow morning, or come and look for a link from me if I remember myself.

It used to be up on silverginger.co.uk, before the Wildhearts reformed and the site became thewildhearts.com. I wonder why they took it down.

Well, you can handle guns under the age of 18 here, but you cannot buy them until you are of age.

I am going to be buying a shotgun and a rifle soon (223, 308 or a 30-06), and maybe a semi-auto AK47. If I had the money, I would buy the 50 caliber semi-auto Beowulf assault rifle, but they are like a thousand bucks heh. Funny that you can own one of those at age 18, but not a pistol...

And you aren't a psycho if you enjoy guns. I personally enjoy skeet and target shooting and blowing the hell out of random objects with guns. Guns are just a tool for sport/competition things such as that and hunting.

heh, i'm going for a 12-bore shottie (double-barrelled probably), and a .17HMR rifle, officially for rabbits but you can kill Roe Deer up to 100 yards, and foxes up to 150 yds, so it's better than a .22, and much lighter.

is a skeet a ground-hog type thing or what?

currently, i have 3 airguns in my bedroom, they're all good for rabbits upto 40 yds or so, but i want more power when i get more land to shoot on.

So you plan on getting an over-under shot gun aye? Only thing that sucks about those is you only get two shots, then gotta reload.

My friend has a .17 caliber, and it is pretty cool for a pea shooter heh. And might want to consider not getting a .17 caliber, as the bullets are considered an exotic bullet and are fairly high priced. A box of 50 .17 caliber bullets over here is about 10-15 dollars a box...

I don't want to bother with little pea shooters, they bore me imo. But a .22 is fun when it's semi-auto with a 50 round banana clip heh.

And skeet shooting is done with shot guns, and you shoot clay pigeons out of the air that are propelled out of a machine.

Shadows 11-18-2005 05:47 PM

I'm not much on guns (for recreation) but I've done some skeet shooting and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's very satisfying to pulverize a clay disc and get that weird smell after shooting. Unfortunately, the recoil killed my shoulder after a while.

Lagging, if you mean like nothing realy is happening and stuff, I think its been like this all day ...

I was reading about the age thing...and someone told me this once. You know how Wal-Mart, is a familly store and all. And they edit some of their cd's, well whats funny is that an isle away from where the editied cd's are, theres guns...strange...

My friend has a large collection of firearms. He has a Tec 9, a Glock, a Desert Eagle and a 12 Gauge shotgun. He has more, but thats all I can think of right now.

He doesnt seem like the type to shhot up a school, but Im keeping an eye on him.

Bartender 11-18-2005 06:07 PM

^A Tec 9 was one of the guns rather famously used at Columbine. I think.
