i think its spelled allin. :upset:
Referring to GG Allin (or Allen) as a musician is quite a stretch, I'd say. |
And did anyone else laugh when they saw "Amanda/Walrus" at the bottom of one of the YSI emails? I don't know many girls who would willingly have Walrus beside their name. I'm not saying that in a bad way.
135lbs, thankyouverymuch :p I hear that I am strange...
I'm really starting to like Over-Nite Sensation by Zappa.
I love Camarillo Brillo Pg. 1776,patriotic. Unless you happen to be Canadian Lunch: Do you have Forever Chnages in .wma or .mp3? |
Alan Parsons? I seriously can't think of any Allens just Alans.
Jeff Beck! Jeff Ament! |
I tohught your name was Jeff?
We share birthdays not names.
Haha yeah sorry, I meant birthday. The only musician with the same name as me that comes to mind is Jeff Buckley. np: Bob Dylan - Bye and Bye. edit - Robert Allen Zimmerman? Can anyone verify whether Walrus is hot? I don't wanna sound like the Classic Rock thread pervert or anything....I'm just curious (and lonely :upset:  ) |
That's better than Mandy Moore and Amanda Bines
|
That's better than Mandy Moore and Amanda Bines
I find Amanda Marshall somewhat respectable. |
Hey! Does anybody out there have any Bob Segar? How about some Cheap Trick or Alice Copper? They are both playing a few miles from my house tonite-Heeheehee. Can't wait to go and walk around outside where its at. Lolz.
What about Jeff Beck?
You're picking up on all my iodicies today. Idiocies is a word, right? Jeff Lynne? That's his name right? |
The guy in ELO and the Wilburries, yes it is.

Any girl who knows and likes the music Walrus likes has to be half decent.
This thread is moving today. |

Haha this guy on Soulseek is downloading so much off me. All my Zappa, Beatles, which alone is like 70+ albums.
 |
Any girl who knows and likes the music Walrus likes has to be half decent.
This thread is moving today.
Yep. Alright, I've got a problem. When I get the zipped files from YSI, I can't extract the files anymore. I never had any problems extracting files when I downloaded from the threads, but of the e-mailed links, I've only been able to successfully extract the files from Wired. Can anyone help me? |
Yeah right!
Can you show me where the spam is? .......................... |
Do you have WinRaR?
Spam = Post count+++ :) Oh, no! Someone is starting to argue about the Stones with me. Bastard. |
Do you have WinRAR or WinZip?

Yesterday this guy lined up 6 or 7 albums to download off me, and when I went to check his list in return, he wasn't sharing anything. Needless to say, I was pissed. Do you have WinRAR lol |
Do you have WinRAR or WinZip?
Both. Usually I use WinRAR though. Neither works now. |
Both. Usually I use WinRAR though. Neither works now.
Re-install both, see if it does anything, if not, there is probably another extracting program out there. |
Ya I'm happy just as long as I can get ride of this damn song from my head.
Thanks for the song Walrus. |
my school time owns you all :)

I'll give it a try. Thanks for the help :) Jacaranda- I don't know if hearing it will get it out of your head. It's so catchy. Great song though, not a bad thing to get stuck in your head. I'm pretty pissed off. First I thought just a couple friends of mine were going to see The Stones, but I saw like 25 Stones 05 tour shirts at school today, and a bunch more people than I originally thought are going tonight  I'm the only really big Stones fan there. I wish I was going. |

Jacaranda I can send it to you if you haven't already got it, you uploaded alot of good music for me.
|
You wouldn't happen to be in model UN, would you?
/random I'm so psyched to see Paul McCartney :D
I'm not in Model UN. Not quite sure where that came in, but there is a big Model UN club at my school that a bunch of my friends are in, and so I think I'll join this year. McCartney should be awesome. Did you see the VH1 special on him an hour ago? I only caught the last 5 minutes of it, but I saw Maybe I'm Amazed and Live And Let Die from the Back in US DVD. It looked great. I'm psyched to see Cream. /doesn't have Cream tickets, but I'm keeping my hopes up. I can afford them, and transportations not an issue, I just home my mom will be able to figure out how to order them from ticketmaster when I'm at school and the tickets go on sale for everyone. |
Walrus sent it too me. I feel odd calling a girl Walrus.
NP: We Can Work It Out! But before that Queen - The Prophets Song: such an odd song it sounds like some Satanic chant. |

Yeah, you don't wanna get slapped or something :(
Referring to GG Allin (or Allen) as a musician is quite a stretch, I'd say.
Good point.
Tell you the truth I've been woundering the same. :p
I think we all have at one point  np: Some stuff by the very awesome Stevie Wonder |

Jam2Me and Pigonthewing82, who is MIA) are in it. If you do it, let me know what country ye be. I also saw the last 5 minutes of the VH1 thing, which got me psyched I think all of us would be jealous if you saw Cream :D Walrus is a bit of a stange name. Especially considering my AIM contains the word "Cow". Maybe I am subconsciously obese |
I'm praying to see Cream. It'll definitely be possible as long as my mom can solve her computer-retardedness.
I'm from NY btw. Pretty close to CT, about 5 minutes from Byram in Greenwich actually. |
Walrus sent it too me. I feel odd calling a girl Walrus.
NP: We Can Work It Out!
I had that song before Walrus (i dont want to call ya your first name cause you dont know me as well as everyone else here) sent it to me,its pretty cool. |
So whatever happened to Badmoon? He stopped posting ever since he found that Lunch post..
Kind of random but, since the Beatles were influenced by the Beach Boys, does anybody not think that Back In The USSR chorus sounds exactly like something that the Beach Boys would do. I'm talking about "Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out They leave the west behind And Moscow girls make me sing and shout" |

Paul in particular was very influenced by Pet Sounds. |
Seeing Cream, one of those things you dream about. It won't be coming true for me, down in Australia we miss out on quite a bit of that sort of stuff. Would be an amazing sight to behold though, like stepping back in time.

I'm talking about "Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out They leave the west behind And Moscow girls make me sing and shout"
I always thought of the White Album as either the Beatle's interpretations, tributes, or mockeries of different genres. There are so many, Yer Blues's lyrics kind of make fun of blues lyrics, Happieness is a Warm Gun is a few different things, Don't Pass Me By is some sort of country, the flamenco at the end of Wild Honey Pie, the vaudville in Honey Pie, the cheesy Lullaby with GoodNight, etc. |
