yeah man i'll check it out, i love moody dark minimalism. found this band german army - body linguist, that is pretty much a modern day throbbing gristle with less vocals and more percussion. all of those bands except the last one in that post are local indiana bands man. youre from ft. wayne right? im in bloomington and its a fucking sweet scene. yeah i'm from around fort wayne, had no idea about these labels in bloomington though besides major ones like jagjaguwar and shit. (probs bc i live in west lafayette now, people here don't really have much to do with people in bloomington) seems pretty kvlt though. and chromatics is minimalist in a drive soundtrack sense not really in an ancient methods/cut hands sense but i still think you'd dig it

you going to purdue? yeah its a big rivalry. you should come down for a show sometime. theres live music any given day of the week at multiple venues. magnetic south is one of the best places to see a show i think. its a house that doubles as a label headquarters and recording studio and they play shows in the basement. theres usually about 4 or 5 joints being passed around during the performances. im trying to find a link for this that downloads. the only one i found that worked was from deposit files and as soon as i downloaded it it went 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 hours left. |
