Mine doesn't. In fact last night I went through my Sputnik ratings and got rid of albums which I rated on early impressions.

Same. I went back and looked at some early-impression ratings and laughed at myself.

I better do that as well actually as most of them were made early last year I think.

I'm with Jake in this.

It depends for me I reckon. Sometimes a first impression sticks. Then you realize your entire liking for something is riding on that first impression and you find you have to dig a little deeper. Maybe you don't like it as much anymore then. Then later something sparks a memory--a smell, a sight, a feeling of loneliness--and you realize your first impression was right all along.
