I've listend to Slayer for ages, 2 of my friends have listened to em for about 15 years. We all think it kicks arse. If you like Slayer, you'll like this new album.

I like it, but of course its not as good as there old ones.

Slayer has put out a lot of great non-thrash songs dead skin mask, spill the blood, a lot of stuff off south of heaven which is a good album!!

south of heaven is amazing and even though its more melodic its stil amazing and they can do that stuf too

Everything except for Dissident Aggressor was thrash on South of Heaven. It was just more midpaced, that's all.

Yea thats discouraging, cuz i havnt heard anything other than jihad,cult, and eyes of the insane, and from what im seeing on here is that jihad is probably the best song other than flesh storm, but my point was the south of heaven album, since fatal energy didnt like the new album based on speed, but i think slayers slower songs are great as well, like the stuff off south of heaven or dead skin mask off seasons in the abyss

Seriosly i love this album and i am a huge slayer fan. Mostly everything is good, tom doesnt sound one day older, his voice has not changed and this is a huge improvement from GHUA. Plus there are lots of very good songs on here. The thing is if you tell urself that its gonna suck and ur not gonna like chance is that ur not gonna like it, so open ur eyes up.

Other than those tracks its alright.
