So... I decided the bass I'm going to build is going to be my double cut design, not the singlecut. The singlecut has some inherent design issues right now, and I need to tweak those before I start cutting any wood. It'll be pretty simple: Ash body, Maple/Purpleheart neck, and a Pau Ferro fretboard. 5 string fretless, but I'm not sure on hardware, I'm not sure if I can get that stuff under retail or not. I want to do a swirl sort of strain with a couple different blues, then just a tung oil finish to gloss. Sound good?

Do you have pictures of the two designs?
