Lunch 12-15-2005 01:09 PM

I have no idea what to get my parents for Christmas. I have a feeling I'll be out scrambling around on Dec. 24th or so.

i managed to get my mum 2 albums, don't know what to get my dad, or my 2 sisters and my brother.

Lunch 12-15-2005 01:12 PM

Me and my dad like the same music, but I'm having a hard time thinking of albums he would really enjoy that he doesn't already own.
Yea, well I do have a job. A crappy job.
What do you do?

I work for my family at a chevy dealership, 2 hours a day for 2-3 days a week at minimum wage ($5.15). :(

Deconstruction 12-15-2005 01:22 PM

Anyone have some unexpect?

PinkFreud 12-15-2005 01:22 PM

2 hours a day? thats not much at all.

Shred Danson 12-15-2005 01:23 PM
2 hours a day? thats not much at all.
Well I work from when school gets out (2:55) until they close up, which is at 5. So I'm an unlucky bastard. I did visit a new local guitar shop yesterday and they might have me work there, maybe give some lessons, etc...

I'm a cashier at Sears. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a department store. It sucks around this time of year.

I bet it does, man. But hey, at least you get more hours and money than me :p

the2stranger 12-15-2005 01:32 PM

PinkFreud 12-15-2005 01:33 PM

haha. sears. i am soon to be employed at aco hardware.

a longhaired asian who knows nothing about hardware working at a hardware store. im expecting wacky shenanigans to ensue.

"hey farva! whats that restaurant you like with the mozzarella sticks and all the goofy **** on the wall?"
I bet it does, man. But hey, at least you get more hours and money than me :p
What sucks about it is that it's either really busy or really boring. But overall I guess it's not too bad. And yea, the money is nice.

My drinking beer habbit is still too expensive though.

Yeah, I like to keep busy, though, man. Makes work go by faster.

Lunch 12-15-2005 01:38 PM
Yeah, I like to keep busy, though, man. Makes work go by faster.
That is the good thing about it, but then I have to deal with the annoying line and all the customers who have to complain about everything or write a check that takes them 20 minutes. Or the people that buy half the store.

PinkFreud 12-15-2005 01:39 PM
Yeah, I like to keep busy, though, man. Makes work go by faster.
depends though. when i worked at borders, around popular title release dates, it would get really stressful and the managers would get uptight and ****.

:evil::naughty:

Steerpike 12-15-2005 01:45 PM

Man, I need a job. Until my site goes live, I'll have no source of income aside from the charity of my relatives.

I should probably take that tourguide job on campus next semester. It's not much, but it will probably help cover the price of a movie every now and again.

Deconstruction 12-15-2005 01:49 PM

I'm not sure yet...I think I will pass I know plenty of different music.
