yee haw i was supposed to work today but it was raining and everything so my dad didn't take me in. but he's paying me for 8 hours anyways because i'm in debt haha.

serious question: i know that last month i worked atleast 40 hours. 50 at most. but my dad only wrote me a check for 28 hours. what do you think i should do? let it slide, or tell him that he owes me more? he's given me a few extra cheques here and there because of the fact that i haven't been able to work about 14 days that i planned to this summer (due to tournaments, lack of things to do, weather, time he leaves for work, etc.) but right now i really need money. i'm down $500 to friends, and with this cheque i'll still be down $140 until around september. with the hours i haven't been paid for, i could break even. any suggestions?

red n black 08-11-2005 01:57 PM

You should work more and stop hating your dad.

Voodoo Rabbit 08-11-2005 03:22 PM

^That's some good advice....Although maybe you should, like, drop a hint or something....Or ask him for an advance on your Pay check....?....

Bloody Hell....

I was just sitting in front of the computer, pondering what to do next, then there's this HUGE bug that's flying around me. *I, naturally being scared of huge bugs, ran out the room. My father caught it and put it in a container, calling it a 'Colorado Beetle' -

I Fucking hate bugs.....

Double Bass Jim 08-11-2005 04:24 PM

Haha me too ^

I've had a few spiders repel right down in front of my face while I was sitting here, I nearly flipped over in the chair jumping backwards. We get huge centipedes in the house too, those huge furry ones their the worst of all.

gastery6 08-11-2005 04:29 PM

The only bugs I get in my house are flys and spider. ONly the spider freak me out sometimes.

Haven't graced MX's shores in a while. :naughty:

Heres a pic of what Arbiters unique tuning system looked like (before the whole conspiracy started).

rockindrummer 08-11-2005 06:43 PM

Sweet, that would be an odd way to tune a drum but it looks well different.

Double Bass Jim 08-11-2005 07:00 PM

Thats it! Thats the famous arbiter system the best there is.

The Fiction We Live 08-11-2005 07:06 PM

I like lugs...

RushHourSoul 08-11-2005 07:13 PM

Yeah, the shell looks really bare. However just imagine tuning it, one lug, thats crazy.

rockindrummer 08-11-2005 07:46 PM

The shell, IMO, doesn't look as good it is to bare and naked. Although if it works then screw looks.

Josiah 08-11-2005 07:59 PM

It works. Best tuneable drum design ever.

Ah well, here is me, 5 mins ago. I'm not very good at posing for pictures..
