its a good album, dont be worried.
Yeah, but I bought it blind (so I could have something to go with Songs in the Key of Life in the two-for-£20 sale). I've been digging it most of today though and so far, you're right, it is a good album, so all is well. |
I've been digging a lot of X Japan and M83, so thanks to bread and Iai. :)
|
Morrissey and X Japan too.
|
Sage frickin' Francis.
|
Hood's newest release Outside Closer
It's a pretty decent album that fans of the Notwist's Neon Golden would find something they enjoy... |
Sonic Youth
Which album? (Awesome band, btw) |
The Plot to Blow up The Eiffel Tower
|
Stars - Set Yourself on Fire.
Amazing album. |
Stars - Set Yourself on Fire.
Amazing album.
stars the girl band???? |
The New York Ska Jazz Ensemble and BOTAR. I feel like getting into ska these days.
What's the best Rocket From the Crypt album by the way? |
stars the girl band????
Well they have a girl and guy vocalist, but it's an indie-ish band from Montreal. |
sweet avatar ^^ good movie
|
Sage frickin' Francis.
nice. I've been digging on Tilly and the Wall lately. It's Indie Pop with a tap-dancer instead of a drummer, in case somebody hasn't heard of them. Fun music. |
Stars - Set Yourself on Fire.
Amazing album.
i've been meaning to check this out. i shall do so now. |
I've been digging a lot of X Japan and M83, so thanks to bread and Iai. :)
yay! :thumb: I'm loving The Arcade Fire today and every other day. It's such a nice album. |
Dashboard confessionals baby-----just broke up and it eases the pain :)
|
Theres no "s" in on the end of Dashboard Confessional.
|
I bought Worlds Apart yesterday, pretty dissapointing.
Personally, I thought it was the best record of 2005 thus far. Until the new Mars Volta officially comes out, that is. |

nothing else worthwhile (and worldwide) has come out yet, at all. so you may technically be right. |
Yeah ok, I like Worlds Apart a lot more now, but still dissapointing.
|
Glad to see X Japan appearing in this thread. :)
Today I dug M83 for a bit, then listened to a load of stuff I'm gonna put on a CD for the object of my affections. Then, I listened to The Man Machine by Kraftwerk 3 times through, and I now officially declare it one of the best albums ever made. |
I've also been having random bursts of digging Shpongle's Tales Of The Inexpressible, which is probably the best thing Zappa's ever recommended to me. And that's saying something.
|
^ an awesome record indeedy.
I'm liking Black Mountain right now |
I really haven't found M83 to be as good as people say. After Before the Dawn Heals Us was released, it just reinforced my disappointment. For my ambient-progressive-electronic-indie-pop-whatever-you-wanna-label-it needs, Air is good enough for me. :)
|
Every time I put on Dust by Screaming Trees, I realize how incredibly great it is, and I wonder why I don't play it more often.
|
I downloaded the new Electric Six album the other day. It wasnt as good as Fire, but it still shakes these hipz.
|
And I think to myself... why does Zappa not listen to the Afghan Whigs/
|
The Grateful Dead - "American Beauty"
Awesome :thumb: /expected |
Theres no "s" in on the end of Dashboard Confessional.
