If that show was on a Friday or Saturday, I would consider heading up to Toronto to see it.
:( |

Man, this tour isn't even coming close. The only other nearby city is Cleveland, but that's on a Sunday.

Also, im seeing circle takes the square this monday. Then I run out of money. =( |
I saw TBS the other week, and they played pretty good. Adam even jumped up hung upside down from the balcony and carried on singing. Pretty sweet.

Did he keep swinging his mic around his neck when you saw them? I swear he did that more then sung when i did. |
Damone
I'd never heard of this band before, but they were pretty good. They reminded me a bit of Paramore, as the vocalist sounded similar to Haley. There isn't a lot to say about them, really, but they alright. Rock 'n' Roll Soldiers These guys were surprisingly good. They had a lot of energy, and put on a really good show. Toward the end of the set, the lead singer took the bass drum, and threw it off to the side, and then began knocking over other pieces of the drumset. It was quite amusing. A Wilhelm Scream These guys were amazing, as usual. Unfortunately, they're bassist (Curtiss) left the band just before the show, so one of the guitarists had to take his spot. Even without two guitars, their set was amazing, though. They had a ton of energy, and really got the crowd moving. So awesome. Less Than Jake Fucking incredible. They put on seriously one of the best shows I've ever been too. The crowd was going crazy the whole time. I spent some time in the circle pit, which was awesome, and then spent the rest jumping around up front near the stage. About halfway through their set, the lead singer pointed out some guy in the back, who he said looked like Phil Donahue. He then told the guy to go up on the stage and have a beer with the band. When "the guy" got on stage, I realized it was my dad! The lead singer then proceded to ask [ I ] was. He then told me that I had an awesome dad, because his dad wouldn't have "taken [him] to see [him] when [he] was younger." After he was done talking, the lead singer let my dad stay on the stage while they played the next song. My dad then got to shake hands with the bassist and lead singer, before leasving the stage. It was so cool. I now have the beer bottle that was given to my dad sitting in my room. Anyway, Less Than Jake finished out their set with a series of awesome songs, both old and new. They were incredible. The only disappointment was that they didn't play "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sell Outs." Overall, the whole show was awesome. Less Than Jake is truly one of the most fun live bands ever. :D :D :D :D |
That is so amazing Brian that is good luck man haha.
|
Hahaha, that's so cool, Brian.
|
Yo man that's sweet.
I only met one band once. Well two, one was local though. |
So what did your dad say to you after the concert, Brian?
|
Haha, nothing really.
He found it kind of funny that out of all the people in the place, they managed to spot him all the way at the back. On our way out a couple guys came up to him and shook his hand too. |
Just another day in the life of Brian's dad.
|
Hahaha.
We're off to another show tonight. :p |
Brian, that's the coolest thing I've ever heard of!
|
The Queers
So last night I had the opportunity to see the legendary Queers. It turned out to be a great show. They played song after song without stoping. They played a good 50 songs over the course of and hour and fifteen minutes. Although I only knew about one-third of the songs they played, it was still an awesome time. Just as a side note, about 10 kids came up to my dad last night because they recognized him from Less Than Jake. |
BUMP
Well I bought tickets to go see The Academy Is.. with Acceptance, Hellogoodbye, and Panic! at the Disco off ebay. Me and my friend wanted to go to this show so incredibly bad that we bought tickets off ebay for 126.00 for a pair. So ya we are going on March 26th and it will be amazing because we payed 126 dollars for the tickets haha. Also the pre-sale for Taking Back Sunday's US tour starts tomorrow. Me and two of my buddies are going to buy tickets tomorrow for their Easter show. It will be a killer show. They haven't announced who they were playing with so it will be a surprise but I am looking forward to it. Also a lot of bands have already commited to Warped Tour 2006 and its looking like it will be an amazing tour this summer. I am so ready for it. |
$126.00. Holy crap that's a lot for one concert.:p
|
Ya no kidding my mom almost crapped her pants but I don't care I want to go to that show so bad. But it is really dissapointing when tickets were only 14.00 when they first went on sale.
|
Do you know the tour dates for the TBS thing? Are they coming here? They better be.
|
I will post them Brandon, one sec.
|
Haha, yeah they were $13.50 when they came here. Sadly, I missed that show.

Sorry haha US and Canada. Ya I'm pumped to see them and I'm going to see them on Easter. |
Why do bands always have to come to Toronto on a Thursday!?!
|
that last date should say East Rutherford, NJ
i would jus see them there but thats the second bamboozle day and i'm not gonna pay another $40 for them and P!atD basically cause the second day blows compared to the first |
Why do bands always have to come to Toronto on a Thursday!?!
SOOOO Who cares about school dude, go to the show. I always end up going to shows on Sundays and then I jsut skip school Monday. Just go on a Thursday then skip Friday. Its like an extra long weekend starting off with a concert. |
yeah i go to shows during the week all the time - but i always go to school the next day cause my parents make me
so i'm overly tired in school = spazz |
My mom is an idiot and probably won't let me go. I was surprised she let me go to the From First to Last concert back in December.
|
It was on a Friday.
Concerts do seem to hit here on a Thursday a lot. But I have to go to it. I need more concerts. Distractions from reality are good. |
I can try and talk my mom into letting me go. Transportation is our next problem.
