i just got a leather jacket from a goodwill shop and I was wondering how I put in studs. Do I just poke a hole through the material and screw them in or is there any special precautions?
I tried a seam ripper to poke in holes, and cut in a small slit. It works alright, but i had some trouble with it on the thicker parts of the jacket... I need to find a dart.

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 12-14-2004 09:42 PM

does any one know any good sites for collective stencils

themalevolent 12-14-2004 10:28 PM

Back when I had liberties I used Elmers school glue... that terrible white stuff. held up for days and wasn't rock solid either. Hairspray never did **** for me.

honkybrewster 12-14-2004 10:34 PM

Were you using Rave 4? It eats your hair alive but it does a **** good job holding it up.

does anyone know how to grow shrooms?

Let's Chop Cats! 12-27-2004 12:46 AM

As in the magical kind? I've always heard stories about how they're grown in fecies. Google is probably your best answer.

shadows_forbid 12-27-2004 12:49 AM

thanks
does anyone know how to grow shrooms?
I finished painting the back of a jacket I've been working on, and I was wondering what everyone thinks.

Comment and whatever.

I've seen better I've seen worse.

6/10.

I recently tried to stencil on my plaid jacket. Didn't work and smearded pretty badly. But it looks cool because the name of the album is Rub Me Out.
Is there a good way to put spikes in leather besides a dart? Becaue I don't have a dart...
I used a Black and Decker Drill.

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 01-08-2005 01:08 AM

or you could pound them in with your forehead, or a power drill or something, hah, mid west kids dont need jackets, we wear hoodies, bitches

Brain Toad 01-08-2005 01:14 AM

if you pound them too hard, or have them the wrong way, you may end up like Vyvyan.
That motorhead patch is awesome. I like the extra pocket idea too.
all from a thief's point-of-view :thumb:

cause the normal inside pockets are placed on the outside of the normal pockets, so if i have something in them and i put my hand in my pockets, it sticks out because of my hands...with this extra pocket, anything i have in that extra pocket i can hide by pushing it t'wards me thus not being visible... :naughty:

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 01-08-2005 01:50 AM

patch on right pocket: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/J_Atomic/7b1086f8.jpg

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 01-08-2005 02:24 AM

ok, back to DIY
umm, do any of you have enough origianl DIY products to trade with people?

Feel The Darkness 01-08-2005 02:26 AM

i used to make chain belts...usually just for me though....cause i dont like normal belts...im used to shoe laces as belts...so chains worked just fine for me...

Feel The Darkness 01-08-2005 02:33 AM

oh, and i got an Anti-Nazi "Swastika crossed out" cloth patch, the circle with the line through it is actually red...its one of the ones you'll find on AYP and other sites, but i colored it red...(black/white/red)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/J_Atomic/55c25b02.jpg

and i also have an embroidered patch, "Fear the Reaper!", which has the grim reaper standing by a tombstone...it was an iron-on, but the adhesive has worn off, thus sewing is required...(black/white)

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 01-08-2005 02:34 AM

pedro durruti 01-08-2005 02:36 AM
