That should be an awesome show, and those aren't the only bands just the ones that have already been confirmed, so Galactic might be there.

6Stringer 01-26-2005 07:02 PM

That's good, I saw them play here during the Summer. It was an awesome show.

e p 01-27-2005 10:10 PM

I hope Ben Harper and Primus/Claypool make appearences.

keep on phishin' 01-30-2005 11:55 AM

A good line up so far. I'm pretty sure there will be more, just most probaly aren't confirmed yet.

Jam2Me 01-30-2005 07:26 PM

I'm not into Claypool all that much, I liked Oysterhead that's about it. Ben Harper is awesome.

jpj 01-31-2005 02:34 PM

I love Claypool. Have any of you heard Live Frogs Set 2? Covering all of Animals is a major feat in the studio, but to do it live is just amazing.

PhishPhan420 02-02-2005 04:21 PM

if anyone knows any scales used by trey in any songs for guitar id appreciate it. thanks

Pirate Satellite 02-02-2005 04:28 PM

Ah, it breaks my heart that Trey and Gordon will both be playing and not sharing a stage.

Does anyone own 'Clone' by Leo Kottke and Mike? I have Mike Gordon's solo and Leo Kottke's solo, and was wondering what their collaboration sounded like. I'm sure it's just awesome.

Kingadamx 02-02-2005 05:50 PM

Claypool is awesome. I have his work with Primus and a lot of his solo stuff.

Supposably, Trey makes up his own scales (alot of the time).

e p 02-04-2005 11:59 PM

Badmoon, Keller is playing in Chicago, as well as moe., if it's any concern to you.

jpj 02-05-2005 09:29 AM

Moe. is playing in Morantown and so is Gov't Mule, but I can't go to either :(

6Stringer 02-05-2005 03:54 PM

Anyone ever listen to the Dark Star Orchestra?

nectarjam 02-05-2005 04:46 PM
if anyone knows any scales used by trey in any songs for guitar id appreciate it. thanks
I know he uses the myxolydian and dorian modes a lot. He likes to play notes outside of the chords and chromatics alot. Honestly its hard to sound like trey because he doesn't stick to any particular scale, he just plays what feels right to him

nectarjam 02-05-2005 04:47 PM

Any of you phish and claypool fans heard of Oysterhead? Im thinkin about buying the cd do you recommend it?

Kingadamx 02-05-2005 05:15 PM

I'm from Hamden. Do you go to Toads much? In the past year they've had Medski Martin & Wood, Dark Star Orchestra, Shakedown, Soundtribe Sector 9, Marshall Tucker Band, and a bunch of other awesome jam bands. Some lesser known ones too.

Pirate Satellite 02-07-2005 09:08 PM
