A hoodie and a baseball cap is exactly what is frowned upon in What Not to Wear. And pants like that don't do anything except make you look short.
That show is the most ridiculous thing on the planet.

And I refuse to wear jeans that aren't baggy because they aren't comfortable.

Riva 01-04-2008 07:49 PM

You'd be surprised at how comfy tight jeans are. I have two pairs of rather tight fighting, boot cut jeans and they are very comfortable to wear, once you get your meat and two veg settled in.

You just need to wear them in.
once you get your meat and two veg settled in.
hehe
That show is the most ridiculous thing on the planet.
not really

i am the robots 01-04-2008 07:55 PM

I'm wearing girl pants atm, mad comfy.

Valhall 01-04-2008 07:55 PM

The only tight pants I ever wear are my leather pants, and only for shows.

///waits for mad shit...

Apocalypticon 01-04-2008 07:58 PM

Agreed. I don't wear emo skinny jeans, but all my jeans are well fitted straight leg or boot cut that don't hang around my knees. Needless to say the are not uncomfortable at all, in fact I find baggy jeans uncomfortable and all over the place, more like wearing a blanket than pants. Also I don't look like a douchebag.

I agree that What Not To Wear is a ridiculous show and I think its really stupid. But they do have one valid point. Everyone is judged based on how they look first, and life is about first impressions. Unfortunately.

Nostalgia 01-04-2008 07:59 PM

Yeah I haven't worn baggy jeans since like 6th grade.

Eliminator 01-04-2008 08:00 PM

i havent worn them since like 3rd

i wear boot cut jeans. straight leg just doesnt feel right to me

Deathcrush 01-04-2008 08:00 PM

I'm wearing camopants right now because I'm currently in a war against BRA.

It's actually because a rebel beer fizzed up and spilled all over my jeans about half an hour ago, whatever.
and life is about first impressions. Unfortunately.

BRA is fucked.

Lmao are those the ones you bought online?

Apocalypticon 01-04-2008 08:05 PM

BRA is fucked.
I know. I'm not trying to make fun of him. I'm trying to help him. Cause, sorry to say BRA, but Bled To Death isn't gonna pay the bills.

Valhall 01-04-2008 08:06 PM

Bled to Death isn't meant to pay the bills.

Metal in general doesn't pay the bills.

Deathcrush 01-04-2008 08:06 PM
Lmao are those the ones you bought online?
Indeed. Purchased them from some army surplus site when I was drunk.

Cheap, too. :)

Apocalypticon 01-04-2008 08:07 PM

I'm glad you realize that.

Music in general doesn't pay the bills.

Valhall 01-04-2008 08:08 PM

Playing/recording music doesn't.

Other aspects do though. (Promotion, advertising, Label work, studios, and ESPECIALLY live sound).

The people that do live sound around here are rich bastards. At least the ones who have been doing it for a while are.

Deathcrush 01-04-2008 08:18 PM
Metal in general doesn't pay the bills.
Well actually, quite a number of metal bands have at least a portion of their bills paid through their music in some way or another.

But you're actually sort of correct here, if you're refering to those metal bands that never really gave a shit and just recorded some quality heavy metal onto some cheap cassettes and spread them around to the few that were interested.

Good to see you've got the same sort of mindset.

negrodamus 01-04-2008 08:22 PM

My jeans I wore today were kinda baggy. They're too big for me now, so I was pulling them up all day.

Valhall 01-04-2008 08:23 PM

I actually pull them up and use a belt though, unlike half the retards around here that wear baggy pants that show half of thier asses.

bleep_bloop 01-04-2008 08:25 PM

still, baggy *** pants make you look like an idiot. the backwards baseball cap doesnt help either

Deathcrush 01-04-2008 08:26 PM

I think BRA has me on his ignore list. :(

negrodamus 01-04-2008 08:27 PM
still, baggy *** pants make you look like an idiot. the backwards baseball cap doesnt help either
why does it matter?

Valhall 01-04-2008 08:27 PM

No, I just didn't have anything to say.

@Deathcrush

Then get to the black metal thread; if you don't have anything to say to back up things that you've already said, maybe you should not speak at all.

What I said was pretty self explanitory; it really doesn't need to be explained.
