So I got the Municipal Waste/Crucial Unit split off Soulseek the other day. It is awesome. I love the start of Born To Party :lol:

Crucial Unit is one of my favorite bands. They are SOOOO good.

I just got Waste Em' All. It was pretty damn good. Super short though.

hahaha, exactly. that's why if you look at my Last.FM, RAMBO has so many plays. Overall it wasnt that many times compared to other albums, but the amoutn of songs is insane.

haha yeah. I was listening to Municipal Waste's early stuff alot last week, which is why they had 63 plays on my last.fm, and the closest band behind them was 17 plays :-D

There's a huge show at the end of this month here; Municiple Waste, Coliseum, Lords, Doomriders, Black Spoon Brigade, and locals. I've never heard of the last two, but I'm definatley going. Anybody know anything about these bands?

I know about Municipal Waste. They're great. I'm actually listening to them now. But not of the other too, possibly J does.

I don't know Lords or Black Spoon Brigade, but how could you not know Doomriders!? They're only like one of the best recent hardcore bands. The Waste is a for sure good deal, as is Coliseum and Doomriders. Which reminds me, Coliseum and Doomriders did a split where they just covered Danzig songs if i recall, haha.

What kind of thrash is the band?

Alright, I'll check out Doomriders.

If you mean my new band, then I'm not sure yet. We don't have a completed song yet, but so far it sounds pretty good. There's definatley a lot of thrash influence, but there also seems to be a lot of indie influence. It sounds weird, but I think it's good. And we're probably moving more towards hardcore/thrash. I'm not a huge fan of metal.

Indie and thrash? I wanna hear this real bad.

It'll be a while. We aren't quite a full band yet. The guitarist is pretty insane. It's hard to describe, because he has a pretty unique playing style. I don't think I've ever seen him use powerchords.
