AIC/EAZY-E 05-24-2005 05:27 AM

Actually it's only the voice and the guitar effects, but they seriously make the song what it is. It's awesome and outshines Lost In Hollywood IMO. Does anyone think those two are placed together solely for the fact they both have Hollywood in their titles? It would be good if they were joined together, kind of like Underground In America/Sandblasted Skin by Pantera.

SOAD is my older brother's favorite band, and he has been listening to Mezmerize nonstop since it came out. Save me!

It's not that bad, I actually really like most of the tracks on that album.

Skit 05-24-2005 11:12 AM

Mezmerize is number 2 in the UK albums chart!

Awesome Eh? :thumb:

Hui_LP 05-24-2005 11:16 AM

S.O.A.D Kicks ***, but I think Daron is slowly taking over the band.

PepsiMetal 05-24-2005 02:10 PM

He is, although when you think about it, he has the most talent in the band.

Handle with care 05-24-2005 02:23 PM

Dont you think that serj looks a bit like Wierd Al?

Endless Obsession 05-24-2005 02:31 PM

I'll second that. He tries to do too much.

Handle with care 05-24-2005 02:43 PM

The drums are a lot more in tune with the guitar in mesmerise eg in BYOB and Revenga. But my favourite drum licks are in Toxicity.

KRASH 05-24-2005 02:59 PM

John adds alot more with double bass in mezmerize since he barely ever used it in previous albums. Although the beat in IEAIAIO is pretty amazing imo.

Yeah i realized that he just started using his Bass drum a lot. You can hear it in Cigaro and BYOB a lot. The beat in IEAIAIO is almost the same exact thing as "Im the Man" by Anthrax, just without the closed high-hat.

Anarchy_In_Mexico 05-24-2005 10:05 PM
