I have trouble choosing between the songs because I love them all so much, but currently my all time favorite song is 88 so I suppose that would count, I have a "Best of Sum 41" folder on my comp at my house (right now I am at my school's media center). The song's aren't really my favorites but they are the one's that snagged the most attention. When I get home I will try to post all of their names.

HHOP: Makes No Difference
AKNF: Fat Lip (Cmon it's so catchy!), Handle This
DTLI: Hooch, Thanks For Nothing
Chuck: No Reason, Pieces, 88

88 is the perfect way to end the album in my opinion, as is Hooch. Nowadays it's so popular to end albums with slow and sometimes acoustic songs, but not Sum 41. I love it.

Agent_Orange 01-04-2005 10:45 AM

I like all of thier second and third albums not really that crazy about thier new stuff but I like some of the songs.

all killer no filler did really good, but does this look infected? didn't really do so well, and now Chuck is doing phenomenall, it's weird

Pretty much. This is my 54th

rexob 01-04-2005 12:53 PM

ya their new album is probably the best, although it took a while to get used to. the only bad song is slipping away

TheBassicBassist 01-04-2005 10:32 PM
Pretty much. This is my 54th
I know I'm quoting myself but here is the list:

Machine Gun
What I Believe
T.H.T.
Makes No Difference
32 Ways To Die
Fat Lip
Motivation
In Too Deep
Crazy Amanda Buckface
Pain For Pleasure
The Hell Song
Over My Head (Better Off Dead)
Still Waiting
Thanks For Nothing
No Reason
We're All To Blame
The Bitter End
Welcome To Hell
88
Moron
Subject To Change
Noots
What We're All About

those aren't my favorites seeing as it is impossible for me to love any of their songs more than the others

saliva reject 01-05-2005 06:38 AM

My fave songs in no order
Fat Lip
World War 7 Parts 1 and 2 (UK bonus track on DTLI)
Hooch
The Bitter End

What would you all rate the new album. I bought it and I give it about 8/10. :thumb:

id say...9.5/10. it was ****ing awesome. the songs that were good were REALY good, bt i found that as they become heavier and more mature, they write mroe pop songs. its good, but some say sounds way too much for avril lavigne for my liking.

I don't think that DTLI got as much exposure as AKNF and Chuck. The only DTLI song I've heard on the radio is Still Waiting. I've heard We're All to Blame a lot on the radio though.

at least 9.5/10. It has songs that I don't care to listen to at cerain times, but I think it is a masterpiece

true, but I still think that Some Say sounds like a Sum 41, though Avril tends to write things that sound like it, she doesn't go as deep lyric wise

I heard Still Waiting on the radio once, but I don't really listen to the radio, it's too many bands you don't want to hear and too few bands that you do want to hear. I still haven't heard We're All To Blame on the radio yet, but I'll respond to this post with a former post of my own...

there's actually some pretty good stations where I live. I hear lots of Green Day, some Co&Ca, blink, and some rock/alt

get Half Hour of Power next, then just get the cd's in order of release

if you've seen Napolean Dynamite then say this next quote like he says it "Luckyyy". there are only two semi-neat stations where I live, it's not fair. I wish I could get a nice station.

I have to give the radio some credit, if it weren't for them then I never would have heard First Date, and if I'd never heard First Date, then I never would have been at the store looking for Blink 182 when I found Sum 41. Go radio.

Agent_Orange 01-07-2005 09:29 AM

There is two good radio stations where I live. One plays all rock the other plays mostly rock but is concederd a "variety" station.

you too are a very lucky person, I've given up on listening to the radio, every now and then a radio will come on around me, but I only go over to it if a band is playing that I really like

TheBassicBassist 01-07-2005 11:30 AM

Everybody who likes Sum 41 needs to go to http://www.sumpieces.com and download all of the songs and vids, and stuff, it is a really good Sum 41 fan site

TheBassicBassist 01-09-2005 04:56 PM

oh my goodness, I don't post for one day and we are almost on the third page

anyways, Sum 41 is doing a charity performance with Avril Lavigne, The Barnaked Ladies and some other famous band for the Tsunami victims over in Asia, I think that that (not a typo) is a d**m good thing to do.

Will avril have cloths on?

TheBassicBassist 01-10-2005 11:27 AM
Will avril have cloths on?
not quite sure, but if I see a video of the performance then I hope she's in the nude, she's pretty good lookin' to me

TheBassicBassist 01-10-2005 11:31 AM

so, how many of you have heard the song Subject To Change?

Michael (sumfartieone4u) said that he would e-mail it to me, but he never did.

I was on http://www.sumpieces.com and I went to the avatar section and it was playing then after it finished I went to my Temporary Internet Files and grabbed it out of there, so now I have it. I still want a better version because mine is all quiet and junky. It is their first song to have two F words in it. The chorus sounds almost exactly like one of the choruses of one of the songs on their new albums. I liked it, but Michael, I still want it from you bud.
