What's the best type of Jacket to customise and where can I get one cheaply?

well i guess it would be a hoodie or denim jacket, since its much easier to sew and stud them than a leather jacket, but imo they usually don't look as good as leather. you can get cheap plain hoodies from H&M, and denim jackets from a charity shop or something.

Yeah I would say Denim jacket aswell, you can get them cheap as owt for a few quid

leather will always look best, and if you get lucky you might find one for cheap

but denim is easy to find cheap, and easy to sew through and stud

why do fake leather jackets cost more than reguler ones

I'd say a denim or army jacket are easy to customise, leather would look better. Although I'm doing an army-style jacket, and it looks pretty good so far.

accrilyics(sp*), then iron set the paint, if you pick at it it might come off it dont put a thin layer, i havent done this but you could try puting a peice of transparent paper over it and melt it on
