All this doesn't speak very highly of what it takes to amuse us. A giggling kid getting sniffed by a dog is funny. But is it really that funny? Is it Mark Twain, Groucho Marx or George Carlin funny? Is it worth spamming all of digital creation?

It's a judgment call, I agree. This particular video is not the best example for my thesis. The previous videos worked a lot better. This is rather sweet and benign. I think it's worth a smile and an "awww" -- when I'm not annoyed by the preponderance of adorable tots, kittens and cheesy jokes being forwarded by the truckload into my inbox.

All I'm saying is that we prize the the trivial and cutesy a little too much. And until children can sign legal consent forms, I think the less we share of their hijinks the better.

it's very possible

I mean if you think about it, just a hundred years ago America's population wasn't even in the millions. So you have higher chances than you might think

Deth 01-17-2010 01:31 PM

US population July 1, 1900 76,094,000

college has consistently been one of those things that i miss when it's gone but get sick of when it's happening

Jaundice 01-17-2010 02:03 PM

I just started a blog, gonna put up some albums soon.

Aakon_Keetreh 01-17-2010 02:56 PM

parents said they were going to drug test me. told them i smoke pot once in a while. they are not happy lol

Jaundice 01-17-2010 02:59 PM

my parents don't seem to care about drugs anymore, they're just concerned about drinking

Aakon_Keetreh 01-17-2010 03:02 PM

other way around me for me, i can drink as much as i want lol

Meatplow 01-17-2010 03:03 PM

my parents use to let me drink way too much in high school

I seriously would have done better being told to study at night or something instead of drink ridiculous amounts of beer

Morumbar 01-17-2010 03:05 PM

Got €150 from my grandparents today.

Holy ****.

Meatplow 01-17-2010 03:06 PM

I could use €150 whatever that is in australian dollars

Apoc 01-17-2010 03:06 PM

I don't drink to drunkenness all that often anymore.. once every two or three weeks sounds about right

...but yeah I smoke an inordinate amount of weed.

illmitch 01-17-2010 03:10 PM

i usually drink too much but i managed to keep it under control last night, my roommate remarked that i still seemed normal

then again the keg did run out sooo

FatalEnergy 01-17-2010 03:12 PM

Apoc 01-17-2010 03:13 PM

there's something inexplicably enjoyable about wandering around in a daze, asking everyone you knew you had been near the night before what you'd gotten yourself into
there's something inexplicably enjoyable about wandering around in a daze, asking everyone you knew you had been near the night before what you'd gotten yourself into
it gets old around the time you realize you'll have scars for the rest of your life without ever actually remembering how they got there

Apoc 01-17-2010 03:20 PM

I don't wake up with scars

yesterday I woke up with slightly muddier shoes, which was bad enough, but yeah no scarring

illmitch 01-17-2010 03:23 PM

it gets old when you wake up and your car is missing its front bumper
