Except she never posts, and I'm every other post.

I watched parts of Ani DiFranco's Render DVD. She's so good.
And the drummer really made me want an Ayotte kit.

Edit: What the hell is this guy?

PandaDrummer 07-15-2006 05:34 PM

I don't know but I hate him.

Janeway 07-15-2006 05:50 PM

He makes absolutely no sense.

And that wasn't even Good Times Bad Times.I mean, the fills. Wtf were the fills?
The ones Bonham used in that song are the catchiest damn things. Everybody knows them. That guy just shat over everything.

Panopticon 07-15-2006 07:00 PM

That was the wierdest and most confusing thing i've ever heard.

Janeway 07-15-2006 08:01 PM

That guy has all sorts of movies like that on youtube. I've come to the conclusion he just decides to title his random drum movies with names to get people to click on them.

Janeway 07-15-2006 09:55 PM

I know. I hate watching drum videos on youtube because there is so much fricken' crap like that to sift through.

So I go to http://www.gospelchops.com instead.

My sister is in Rome right now. I'm in her bedroom using her computer and touching her things. Earlier today I took a nap in her bed, too. I've got 9 more days of this. Yeeh.

Edit: Awwww shit.
I just wrecked myself going down the stairs in the dark. I was looking at the wall infront of me instead of the stairs, and I missed the last two steps, landed on my ankle, and fell into the door. =/

Edit 2:
Well...This has been my week of spiritual expedition.
I listened to christian music, read excerpts from my bible, watched christian TV, went to christian forums, and attempted to curve my language, sexual deviancy, and overall attitude.

Now I'm watching ATF TV, and I'm appalled.
It's about this group of missionaries who attempted to convert an ancient tribe to christianity. They got killed, and they're completely pitying them. In the end, another converted the indians, and they're showing footage and pictures of them now. They're wearing bluejeans, baseball caps, and nikes, while still living in relative poverty.
It did nothing for them but cause them to abandon their culture. A culture that's likely to be totally forgotten in a hundred years. They're lives aren't any better save for having a book that allows you to put the blame on your supposed prior ignorance of the true path.
=/

Edit 3:
As of now, I'm devoting my life to educating children about atheism.

Good night, nobody.

Zildjian 07-16-2006 07:22 AM

anybody ever have that dream where your falling then you wake up and feel like you just fell on your bed? It happened to me last night, really weird

Pleaseme 07-16-2006 07:48 AM

Internet + pissed = fun.

Yeah those dreams are weird, I always want to know what would would happen if you didnt wake up, and had more of the dream.

Pespi- **** yeah. You teach thoser fuckers. Raaaaa.

Sunshine 07-16-2006 09:30 AM

I hate shopping with my dad.

"K is that all? Can we go now? You done? Ready to move on? K lets go now."

Its like. Holy crap dude. You spend 1/2 an hour in the game store without a word from me and I can't look at a piece of clothing for more than 2 seconds. I think he gets scared I'm going to want to BUY something...which is the entire point of back-to-school shopping =/

Pleaseme 07-16-2006 09:44 AM

This is why I never go shopping with anyone female, unless it's for clothes. I can't spend more than a minute in a shop that I like, without them moaning and wanting to spend hours in a shop that they like. No fair! I guess shopping with parents is the same- I wouldn't know since I never shop with them. Sounds like a good thing too!

fishbulb 07-16-2006 09:56 AM

Anybody have Rush's debut album? I thought that i had it but i realized that i didn't. I also realized that i didn't have 2112 which i downloaded, but i can't find a rush torrent.

Well, like..I don't mind going into shops that other people want to go into.

In fact, most people bring me along 'cause they know I won't complain. I don't like making other people go to the shops that I DO want to go in, because it makes me feel bad.

But. When the entire POINT is going shopping for clothes because school's starting soon, is time to actually LOOK at a few things so much to ask for..? Its not like I spend ALL THAT LONG in a store. There's only so much you can look at, and I've gotten pretty good at not looking at useless things. It's rare that I'll spend more than 10 minutes anywhere, ever.

Pleaseme 07-16-2006 11:02 AM

Wow, that's unusual. I've learned to stop going anywhere near shopping centres with various girls, as all they do is drag me into bra and shoe shops. But well done to you, you sound like the perfect shopping companion!

Sunshine 07-16-2006 11:42 AM

Hahaha, I wouldn't dare drag a guy into a bra shop, and I don't really like shoes anyway ^-^ Most of them are silly looking and uncomfortable.

Ah well. I'm going to the mall again tomorrow evening without my dad, that should be nice.

I'm such a weird girl >< But it has its advantages.

Futuro 07-16-2006 12:00 PM

Got a second job last week. Putting together mobile chairs for older people, and teaching them how to work it. Then I still give drum lessons.

Sunshine 07-16-2006 12:03 PM

Well, I was about to say that's cool, but then you mentioned you have to teach old people how to do something.

Ouch.

Whatever you're getting paid, it's not enough to do that job.

Janeway 07-16-2006 12:21 PM

Wee.

Shout drumming is the same thing as punk drumming, but in the gospel context it's so much more interesting. Hmmm.....

fishbulb 07-16-2006 12:52 PM

What type of drumkit do you have?

The reason my floor tom is tilted is because the leg sitting in front is shorter than the other two. I hadn't noticed this until a few weeks ago, but I did, so now I have an excuse for it to be tilted.

Sunshine 07-16-2006 01:22 PM

Damnit.

I have to lect today.

I was hoping they'd never make me do it.

Reading out loud is so incredibly embarassing.

fishbulb 07-16-2006 01:26 PM

We have the same hi-hat stand.

Janeway 07-16-2006 01:36 PM

I hate it.

fishbulb 07-16-2006 02:31 PM

Really? Why?

Janeway 07-16-2006 02:36 PM

It's so ugly sitting there next to my Flying Dragons.

fishbulb 07-16-2006 03:10 PM

You have direct drive dragons? And is there a flying dragon hi-hat stand?

Janeway 07-16-2006 03:52 PM

No, it's chain/strap drive, and there isn't technically a 'flying dragon' hi hat stand, but they've got the Yamaha stands that match the pedals.

I like matching things.

fishbulb 07-16-2006 04:25 PM

My hi-hat stand matches my pedals. I wish i should have gotten a DW 5000, though because eventually i want to upgrade it.

fishbulb 07-16-2006 04:42 PM

My family has a 1937 Martin 00-18 Accoustic Guitar and a 1931 Dobro Guitar, both of which cost about $8000.

Janeway 07-16-2006 04:56 PM

I want a Dobro. Is it a squareneck?

Jezen 07-17-2006 01:40 AM

I have all matching Big Dog pedals (all pro models).... YEAH!!

Corkofski 07-17-2006 02:45 AM

im goin off my dogs... they are hot on my upgrade list...

upgrade dogs to FDs, get new beats and an aux hat stand for old hats, get a china, get some e-pads.
