I don't smoke cigarettes, but I love joints (I smoke cigars from time to time though). Bongs are the best, but joints are the most convenient to use and very enjoyable.

I don't smoke Cigarettes really, i've never had joint either.

Cigars aren't too bad.

I smoke cigarettes on a semi-regular base. I can do without them though, I just don't like to.

Bongs are great, especially gravity bongs (we call them buckets here)

I've only ever had a few cigarettes, and it's always when I'm drunk. That's usually when I smoke cigars too, but I just don't like the taste of cigarettes when I'm sober.

It is also the european way. In my year in germany, with my barrage of stoner friends i had out there, not one of them aside from the americans owned a pipe or bowl or anything, always just a pack of skins and a pack of smokes to get high with.

And you europeans, you have to realise that americans NEVER smoke joints with tobacco, always just pure weed. Really makes a lot of europeans gasp and then complain about how much of a waste it is to use just pure weed, and after spending a year out there, i agree with them.

Consequences: Endless, to name a few:

One thing i can tell you from the barrage of joints i smoked there, and "cigaweeds" as my friends call them here, and the tobacco out there in europe has a lot less chemicals in it than the tobacco in the states. So smoking in the EU area can be quite enjoyable because it does taste pretty good, assuming you like the taste of tobacco at all though.

As for flavor there really arent many more perks about smoking except as something to do when youre just waiting around.

The way i see it is, while i dont smoke personally (anymore that is, i was a smoker at one time many many years ago), if someone wants to smoke, let em, if you dont want to, then dont.

I enjoy smoking cigarettes when I'm in a pub, because it adds to the atmosphere and it goes well with a pint of beer. It also tastes great after a good meal. And yeah, when you're waiting for your bus or tram, or just when you're bored, gives you something to do.

Well, there is second hand smoke. Also being someone who dislikes smoking, being near someone who is smoking and having to smell and breathe in the smoke in an annoyance.

But it is a bar, so that's a differnet story.
