I def wanna get back into reading for pleasure this summer. Used to read a lot when I was younger but since I've been in school it's just somewhat dimmed my love for it.
That and writing. |
what'd you think of kafka on the shore
i think i read that one, is that the one where the kid stays in the cabin and spirit travels or some shit. and there's the old guy with super powers, and the cat, and lots of very genuine sexual moments don't remember it that well but i enjoyed it |
anyone who is averse to reading books is like definitively disposable
Why read books when you can just troll people on the internet? That's like, an infinite amount more satisfying. Just knowing that they're so mad and that you owned their face just brings you to that happy place, you know? |
i need some rushdie, never read him
read friday by michel tournier
noted okay. if you read the enchantress of florence, by rushdie, one of my favourites it's a magical book ^^ |
was hoping the library had the crying lot of 49 but they didnt
|
got it from the library once and read the shrodingers cat trilogy by robert anton wilson instead
still better than reading some gay faggot fiction
in b4 mappy whines
 Brent, I'd be interested in hearing your explanation regarding this but nah Jordan, what was that book that you mentioned I should read? (If you recall) |
its an easy explanation, fiction sucks.
i'd rather do a million other things than read something that doesn't do anything |

Gotta buy this tomorrow and read it in a starbucks. I'm thinking I'll get checked out at least one time per 5 pages. |

Personally I enjoy becoming engrossed in a good book. Something about reading that is entertaining yet calming. What do you guys think of e-books? I know they're still books but to me it's not the same. I prefer to have the physical copy in my hands and physically turn pages and whatnot, just more satisfying I think. |
I've also got a beard atm and I'm looking extra hip.
